1957 Chevy Pick up 4x4, This step side is mounted a 70s Chevy 4x4 frame with 4 wheel drive, Axles are heavy duty 8 lug military style with lock out hugs, This combo is driven buy a stout Big Block Chevrolet 454 and backed with a turbo 400 automatic transmission. The truck has power brakes and power steering. Disk brakes up front and drums in the rear. This truck runs and drives awesome. You can jump in and go, no drama. Plenty of power for any type of driving. The paint is very nice in a violet blue metallic, although their are some blems in the paint on the passenger door (see pics) and a couple of bubbles here and there. The body is solid... The tires are 33" mudders but are surprisingly quiet on the street. The entire chassis has been detailed in black,. Truck has a body and chassis lift but drives very smooth. The interior is simple and clean, has 2 bucket seats and a floor shifter, All lights and the windshield wipers work. has a tow hitch with 2" receiver. Inside the bed is wood planking. The motor fires right up and runs perfect. This truck is a driver meant to be driven. not a show truck but look great.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
