I have 2 trucks here I am listing for auction.The light blue1/2 ton was in an accident recently as you can see in the pictures.It was very disappointing because this truck was in Very good condition!It had absolutely no body rust or decay or bondo which is very commonly found on the early Chevy trucks.The engine in this truck is the original engine from 73,it is a 350-chevy small block 4-bolt main.It runs very well with no knocking or ticking whatso ever.It also has a TH-350 transmission 3-speed automatic with a 10-bolt rearend.Unfortunately the frame was bent from the impact on the driver's side and also cosmetic damage to the body as you can see in the pictures. I would like to point out that all the gauges on the inside are in good working condition. I have also listed a 1990 GMC s-15 4x4 truck. This truck can be driven on the road but has some issues due to its condition. It does have a lot of body rust which is very common on early s-15. It has four wheel drive and it works perfectly fine. I drove this truck in the winter only and never had any issues. It has over 190,000 miles and you have to keep an eye on the oil level from the motor due to a small oil leak in the oil pan. After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
2015 Chevrolet Cruze spied on its home turf
Tue, 23 Apr 2013The next Chevrolet Cruze isn't set to go into production for about another year, and we're just now seeing prototypes of the new compact running around here in the States. Not much more has been revealed since we saw the car blasting through the snow in Europe, but we can still clearly see new design elements like the larger grille, slimmer headlamps and redesigned taillamps.
Our spy photographers worked up a composite image of this Cruze prototype alongside the current model, and here, we can clearly see some big visual changes are in store for the new model. The 2015 Cruze's hood slopes downward more dramatically, the windshield is more heavily raked, and the roofline looks more fluid overall. The next-generation Cruze will ride on the new global Delta platform that will also underpin other General Motors vehicles like the Chevrolet Volt and Equinox.
As for what's under the hood, we expect the normal range of gasoline four-cylinder engines (both naturally aspirated and turbocharged), and the compact's new turbodiesel four should carry over, as well. Have a look at the full brace of spy photos in the gallery above.
Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
