Elwood, Illinois, United States
You are looking at chevy k30 with 4x4 and 454 bored .040 over, short bed. this truck was purchased 2 years ago from another man that had done basically all the modifications. I only used this truck to joy ride. the things he had done to this truck there is a packet here with a list of thing:
-396 heads -750 carb.4 barrel -new lunati cam and lifters -valves -rocker studs -valve springs -marine head bolts -oil pump -hedman headers with cherry bombs -waterpump - the receipts are endless -the things i have done in the last 6 monthes to the truck are: -full paint job -seat covers -starter -coil -rechecked timing -plugs -gone through carb(adjusted floats&cleaned out)and new front bowl -tool box -tailgate The motor needs a cam .cam lobes are starting to wear down allowing a few valves to barely open, motor runs fine. once you put a load on the motor from 0 - 35 mph the motor has a pop, aafter that the truck runs smooth. truck needs some tlc. no radio , high beams arent working. truck is pretty good shape for its year. some one with a little mechanical experience would have no problem with this truck. I know i will be losing on this truck but a goood mechanic with some 454 knowledge will have no problem fixing this truck then either selling or having a nice lil hot rod. any question please email me at yamahafsr199@aim.com or ebay mail or call or text kory at 8152600513 or call kevin at 8152600402 |

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall
Wed, 13 Mar 2013
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
