I have a 1996 Chevy 1500 Z71 4x4. I will get right to it. It has a wrist pin or rod knock. It still runs and drives great it just has a knock at 2000 RPMs. It has black exterior and gray cloth interior. The interior is in great shape with no rips or cracks in the seats or dash. The paint is in good shape with some miner scratches. It has rust on the rocker panels and cab corners and some over the fender wells, but the frame is in great shape. It was not a plow truck or salt spreader, it is just a Chevy truck with a lot of miles. It has rims off of a newer GMC. It has true duel glass packs. The transmission shifts great with no problems. I just changed the oil and filter with 40wt and motor honey to help the knock. I also changed the fuel filter. I have been driving it like this for about 2 weeks, and it is not getting any worse. Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
