UP FOR AUCTION I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL LOW MILE SS 454 TRUCK WITH A WHIPPLE TWIN SCREW SUPER CHARGER, A (4K PLUS UPGRADE). THE WHIPPLE CHARGER BOOST THE POWER AND GIVES IT ANOTHER 109 HP AND IT IS A BEAST ALTHOUGH IT IS STREET FRIENDLY UNTIL YOU PUSH THE PEDAL. IT HAS BEEN LOWERED 4" FRONT AND BACK AND IT HAS BEEN DONE RIGHT SO THE RIDE IS STILL GREAT. 2" DROP SPINDLES, 2" LOWER SPRINGS IN THE FRONT AND THE REAR HAS BEEN C NOTCHED WITH 4" LOWERING SPRINGS. INTERIOR STILL LOOKS AND SMELLS NEW, NONE SMOKER, NO FADING, NO STAINS OF ANY KIND. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 28K MILE TRUCK THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGED. New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).

Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video

General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
