Selling my 1990 Chevy 454ss. The truck has 124,xxx original miles and is in great shape. The truck is all stock and I have owned it for the past 4 years. Within the last 6 months I have replaced all 4 tires, front pads, rotors, calipers, front brake hoses and tuned the truck up with all AC Delco parts (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, gas filter & pcv valve). I have always used mobile 1 oil and a/c delco filters for oil changes. The power windows and door locks work as they should. The interior is beautiful and there are no stains. The headliner and visors were recovered about 2 years ago and they look great. The truck does not smoke, or leak oil and runs great. The air conditioning needs to be charged. The drivers side cab corner is starting to rust, but that is the only rust on the truck. The roof and the passengers side mirror have some oxidation, and there is a dent on the rear bumper, but as you can see this is a beautiful truck. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
