ONE OF A KIND 1988 CHEVY SILVERADO K1500 36K ORIGINAL MILES

1988 Chevy Silverado K1500 Pickup in amazing original condition. This truck has 36,000 original miles and all original paint. It has never seen a winter, it has always been stored indoors and only driven on nice days in the summer. This truck is loaded with the following: Ice cold A/C, Tilt, Cruise, PW, PDL, PS, PB, AM & FM Stereo with cassette, Trans cooler, Engine oil cooler and Light Package. It has electronic ignition with fuel injection. All lights, gauges and power equipment work like a new truck. Paint is Black Sable Metallic with custom graphics. The truck also has an incredible amount of add-ons: Custom body kit, Stainless steel brush guard with halogen driving lights, Bug deflector, Cowl induction hood, Lighted visor, Razorback, Tonneau cover, Tail-light covers, Rubber bed and tailgate mats, 16” Aluminum wheels, Custom dual Flowmaster exhaust as well as Tinted window vent shades. All the chrome is in perfect condition. The glass is excellent. The interior is virtually perfect with a very tiny bit of wear showing on the bottom cushion of the driver’s seat. There isn’t any fading on the dash or door panels. It comes with the original carpeted floor mats which are still in plastic. The tailgate has one small dent/line to the right of the handle (no paint is missing). It does show in the picture of the tailgate. There are a few extremely minor scratches that have been touched up and they are only seen when waxing or cleaning the truck. This truck came out of a private car collection. This is ONE OF A KIND truck and you will not find a nicer, cleaner, more pampered 26 year old truck anywhere that runs and drives like a brand new.

If you do not intend to pay, please do not bid. All bidders with less than 5 feedback's need to contact me or their bid might be canceled.

Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.
To see what Team Chevy has been up to all off-season, check out all three videos posted after the jump.

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.
