This truck is fresh from inside a climate controlled storage at the beginning of the year. 64,544 original miles. The pictures speak for the condition. This truck can be taken to car shows as is. Interior, engine compartment, jams, etc. are near mint. Runs and drives great. Has ice cold A/C, smooth cruise control and could be driven home. I have put new EGR valve, spark plugs in the last month. I also have 4 Monroe shocks new in the boxes that were 190.00. The A/C has been converted over to 134, had a new compressor and has been flushed to work like new. This is the cleanest truck I have seen that has not been restored. Camper is excellent, and has awesome shine in the paint. Sleeps 4, has heat, fridge and stove. Lots of storage space. It also comes with the new looking original tailgate, bumper, camper jacks and the new shocks. It is a little peppered at the bottom from gravel roads. (see pics) it does not stand out. If someone wanted this truck really show nice, I would have the bottom yellow repainted. Excellent original truck and camper. If you do not want the camper, I will knock 500.00 off the final winning bid if someone does not want it. I will take it off, and the truck will come with the original pieces. Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video

General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.

After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).

GM won't pay owners of recalled cars for lost value
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Kenneth Feinberg, the man in charge of the General Motors compensation fund dealing with the its widespread ignition switch woes, has issued an informal, two-letter response to the plaintiffs in more than 70 lawsuits seeking redress for lost resale value of their Cobalts: "No." The cases were recently combined into one, but Feinberg told The Detroit News that the fund will deal "only with death and physical injury claims," and that "perceived diminished value" will get no consideration.
ALG, the firm specializing in establishing residual values, determined that Cobalt owners had lost $300 compared to the segment competition and doesn't envision any long-term effects from the recall situation. Feinberg's statement comes in advance of public details on how the compensation fund will work and adheres to GM's long-held position on the matter. The company has already asked a judge to throw out such suits using the pre-bankruptcy defense, even as it stopped using that defense in cases of injury and death.
With plenty of potential gain from the GM suit, however, don't expect the plaintiffs to give up yet. When Toyota was sued for the same reason during the unintended acceleration debacle, it eventually settled the case for between $1 billion and $1.4 billion just to get it over with. Since the 85 law firms involved in the Toyota litigation took home more than $250 million of that total, we shouldn't expect the attorneys to give up on a GM payout, either.
