Easton, Massachusetts, United States
For Sale By:Private Seller
Engine:350
Mileage: 61,787
Make: Chevrolet
Model: C/K Pickup 1500
Trim: Scottsdale
Drive Type: 4x4
This Pickup has just been pulled from 10+ year storage in a dry heated building. I have owned this since the mid 80's when I bought it from a close friend who bought it new. All numbers match and it has never had any rust repair. It has rarely if ever been driven in bad weather and only has 61,000 miles. It has no aftermarket sheet metal. It was driven into my building over ten years ago and pickled with mystery oil. The 350engine and TH-350 transmission were strong and it ran great. It was repainted about 12-13 years ago and has not been registered since. The interior and dash are all original. I never intended on selling this truck, but due to changes in my life some things must go. I have several new parts that I figure it needs due to sitting. I have a brand new Quadrajet and a brand new Ac Delco fuel pump. I also have a brand new Ac Delco Battery. It will need the oil changed and the fuel system flushed. The door panels need to be reinstalled and the fender emblems put back on. The emblems are mint. I also have a high quality car cover for it. The original invoice and paperwork from the dealer is included. No-one will be disappointed in this truck. It is very rare to find one in this great of condition. I just don't have the time or energy to finish it up and get it running.
Thanks for looking!!!

Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own
Tue, 22 Jan 2013It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.
Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
