1972 Chevrolet C-10 4x4 Shortbed Super Nice! Lifted, Restored Rare! No Reserve! on 2040-cars
Pueblo, Colorado, United States
Super nice and RARE Lifted 1972 Chevrolet 4x4 Shortbed Half Ton C/10 Truck, Atomic Orange with Bright White Cab. All new drivetrain consisting of a Professionally rebuilt 400 small block engine, 700R4 Automatic Transmission and a 4" Lift. Engine runs strong and the Overdrive Transmission makes this truck a pleasure to drive at highway speeds, the only way to go. This truck gets more attention than my muscle cars do. Was originally Hugger Orange and White, but has a super classy upgraded Atomic Orange Paint and totally redone Black interior. New chrome gauge bezel, Factory Tach, and rare Tilt Wheel, new dual exhaust with Magna-Flow Mufflers. Everything on this truck works like it should, four wheel drive, dash lights, headlights, tail lights, side marker lights, dome light, heater, wipers, stereo. All glass is very nice and windows roll up and down as they should, tinted rear window. Super straight and solid 72 with power steering, power front disc brakes, factory tilt wheel, factory tachometer and gauges, AM/FM CD Stereo. Rolls on 15x10 Western Aluminum Mag Wheels with 35" Pro Comp Tires. New grille, chrome bumpers, weatherstripping, trim, emblems, etc. Runs and drives great! You don't find such good examples of the Shortbed variety. This was a factory California truck and still retains it's original rockers and cab corners, super solid floor. Stunning color combination. I have the original owner's manual, glove box option sticker, and a free and clear Colorado title in my name. This is a NO RESERVE Auction as with all of my auctions and will sell to the highest bidder. Anyone with less than 10 positive feedbacks are welcome to bid to win as long as you contact me via email or phone first. If you have any questions or require more information, please feel free to email or call (719)289-8648. I can help assist setting up local transport of vehicle if needed. Thanks for looking and good luck!

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]
Thu, 13 Dec 2012Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
