UP FOR AUCTION TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER WITH NO RESERVE IS A 2001 CHEVY BLAZER. I PURCHASED THIS TO GIVE TO MY NEPHEW. I CHANGED THE OIL AND FILTER, AIR FILTER, SPARK PLUGS, THERMOSTATE, ANTIFREEZE AND WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADES. I FOUND OUT THE HEATER HAS BEEN BUY PASSED AND DOES NOT WORK. ABOUT THIS TIME THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT CAME ON AND IT DEVELOPED A ROUGH IDLE. NOW THE NEPHEW SAYS HE WANTS A PICKUP INSTEAD. WELL FINE BY ME, I WILL SELL THIS AND HE CAN BUY HIS OWN VEHICLE . THE BLAZER HAS NO RUST NICE PAINT BUT DOES HAVE SOME FRONT BUMPER AND SPLASH SHIELD DAMAGE. THE INTERIOR IS VERY CLEAN WITH SOME WEAR ON THE DRIVERS FRONT CARPET. THERE ARE NO STRANGE SMELLS AND THE ACCESORIES ALL WORK FINE INCLUDING POWER WINDOWS, SEATS, CD PLAYER ECT. THE AC AND HEAT DO NOT WORK. THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WORKS AND THE TRUCK GOES DOWN THE ROAD FINE FOR THE LITTLE I DROVE. IT.THE MILEAGE IS NOT BAD FOR A 4.3 LITER V6 AND WITH LITTLE WORK IT WILL BE A NICE TRUCK FOR SOMEBODY.THIS WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.

Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.

Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
