1998 chevy blazer for sale. 164,025 original miles, run and drives great!! Has 4 brand new Goodyear wrangler tires, new front brakes and uni-bearing hub on drivers side. Also has two brand new front air bag sensors and a new battery. Engine was just replaced with a remanufactured GM factory long block by an ASE certified mechanic. passed mass state inspection in Dec 2013 without issue. 4x4 works when it wants to.. would require a new electric engagement motor for the transfer case cost is $120 new from any local parts store. Many new parts, body has only two minor rust spots over the rear wheels. clear coat on back passenger side is starting to peal but other then that in good shape. many more years left on this blazer, only asking for what I paid for parts and labor recently. would love to keep this as a second vehicle but don't have the room. local delivery only, located in gill, ma 01354.. more then willing to let people see the car before they buy. for sale locally reserve the right to end early. cash, bank check, money order or PayPal all accepted. please no personal checks unless you would like to wait for it to clear before taking delivery , been burnt in past. if you have any questions please just ask... thanks for looking

Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]
Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
