THIS CAR HAS A 283 V-8, 4BARREL CARB, POWER GLIDE AUTOMATIC, AND DUAL EXHAUST. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL POWER PACK CAR. THE BODY IS STRAIGHT, WITH LOTS OF PATINA. THE FRAME AND UNDER CARRIAGE IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND VERY SOUND. THE CAR DOES ROLL WITH OUT ANY PROBLEM AND THE STEERING WORKS FINE. THE TRANSMISION WILL GO INTO PARK NEUTRAL AND DRIVE WITH NO EFFORT. THE MOTOR DOES NOT RUN AND THE RADIATOR IS MISSING. THIS CAR HAS BEEN SETTING IN A NEBRASKA PASTURE FOR MORE THAN 50 YEARS, AND ITS IN GOOD SHAPE CONSIDERING THAT! THE SEATS ARE TORN AND HAVE BEEN WORKED ON BY THE ANIMALS AND THE ELEMENTS. THE FLOORS ARE SOLID AND THE FLOOR MATS ARE IN DECENT SHAPE CONSIDERING. NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ.
