1957 Chevy 210 Great Condition Bel Air Trim Factory Engine on 2040-cars

Year:1957 Mileage:75500

Thanks for looking at my car. I've had the car for a while and restored it as much as I could afford for now, but money is important and I've got to sell to clear up some things like hospital bills and what nots. The 57 chevy is a great running car. I just drove it from Lynchburg to Amherst, VA.with no problems at all. The only thing that I would do would be to detail the engine compartment and paint the engine and maybe put a fresh gloss finish on the dash because these came glossy from the factory I believe and this is a bit dull, but still looks okay. There is a small dent in the dash, but does not look bad. I have not found any significant rust on or under the car. The only parts on the car that are not factory is the corvette rally wheels and the 350 turbo auto trans. Everything else came with the car including the engine according to my mechanics. The engine is a 265 cubic inch which was made at the Flint Michigan plant in late 56 as where the car was made also.
The paint is turquoise and was painted the closest we could get to the factory paint color. The gauges all work including the gas gauge. The car runs cool and has never run hot since I've had it. I am surprised at the power the car has for a 265 engine. Someone may have rebuilt the engine years ago. I do not know for sure.
I had the upholstery done several months ago in two tone black. The radio is an aftermarket radio, but looks good and plays great. There is a dent on the right door flipper where someone probably closed the door with the flipper down which is famous for these bel air types.
The are too many parts that have been replaced in the car for me to even remember, but it was well spent. I'm just going to miss driving it.
The 57 has always been kept in an air conditioned and heated garage from the previous owner and myself.
This is a low reserve auction and bids must come from the 48 states only.
If you are the winning bidder, a check by Fed Ex or cash will be excepted. No down payment is needed as long as I am payed within 7 days of auction.
Thanks for looking and reading. If you have any questions, just email me and I will get back as soon as possible. I check my email several times a day. By the way, I put in a few pictures when we were restoring.

This is your 2014 Chevrolet SS

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
