Citrus Heights, California, United States
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957 California rust free Chevy Bel Air. It’s our weekend driver, car show and bar hopper. We use this car for our weekend fun it runs and drives excellent, very reliable car runs nice and cool. Comes with a nicely dressed 283 V8 has a mild cam, headers (sounds so sweet). Just got a new Speedometer, gas gauge and temp sensor needs to be installed and car needs a heater has not worked since I have owned it. Just put in new door panels and a brand new headliner. Had nice two toned paint when I got it, I keep it waxed and nice. It has an Automatic Transmission with a B&M floor shifter and the car is set up like a cool looking and sounding Hot Rod. Nice big radiator with electric cooling fan. Has nice 16 inch rally rims and low profile tires it really sticks to the road and has that classic 70’s Hot Rod look. We love having a four door perfect for the kids to easily get in and out of. We have enjoyed this car but she wants me to finish my other projects so this one has to go. The Car will also be for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Car is as is no warranty. Happy Bidding You will love owning this car!!! |

Chevy to show redesigned Captiva in Geneva, will it come to US rental lots?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013Unless you're renting a car or driving through Orlando, Florida (the rental car capital of the US), you'll probably never see a Chevrolet Captiva - the rebadged, fleet-only version of the old Saturn Vue - on our roads, but this crossover is popular in many other parts of the world. As such, Chevrolet announced that the Captiva will be getting an update for 2013, which will be unveiled next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Coming off a pretty extensive refresh in 2011, the 2013 model year will bring even more changes to the Captiva like LED taillights, new 18-inch wheels and revised fascias with a new grille and fog lights up front and inset chrome exhaust outlets at the rear. New interior features include heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control as well as available options on some of the upper trim levels such as leather seating and keyless entry and start. We have yet to hear back from Chevrolet as to whether or not the updated Captiva will be making its way to a rental lot near you, as the model is only available in the US to fleet buyers.
Alongside the updated Captiva, Chevy is also showing off its new Trax in Europe, where the subcompact crossover will go on sale this spring. GM's press release for these two Geneva-bound models is posted below.
Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
