Hear we have a 1955 Chevy 210 model, This car was a body off restoration around 1993 and has been sitting in a Garage in south fla for about 20 years. I purchased this car from the orig owners son it was given to him when he was 15 years and he built it the way it is now, He told me it has a 355 ci, nice hydrulic rough idle cam, 750 Holly, fender well  headers with super trap mufflers, with around 800 miles a new 700 R4 trans, with 800 miles with a shift kit, Band m shifter, and a 12 bolt rear with a 373 richmond gears, brute force posi, with Moser axels, It also has 4 wheel wild wood disc brakes, rack and pinon power steering, Corvette tilt tele steering column, Vintage ac system ac system still blows cold, Also he told me he as weeks of labor to mini tub and move the leaf springs inward to fit the boyd wheels inside the inner wheel wells, Competition Engineering put the rear in with a pan hard bar and it came out really nice a lot of work, To make this car new again it will need a another restoration in the body and in the interior. The worst part is the rear corner of the rear window and lower quater panel, It looks worse than it really is the floors are orig and do not need new ones small hole in the corner thats it. This car runs and drives great but would need tires to drive safely I suggest you look at this car before you buy it unless you can see that this car is not that bad after all, I set the reserve low do to condition,  If you have any more questions call 954-304-2008

Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why

Sun, 27 Jan 2013

Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.
If you have about five minutes and you can't get enough information about the new 'Vette, then check out the videos posted below.

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.

GM investing $167m in Spring Hill for new midsize vehicles

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

General Motors has announced a large investment in its Spring Hill, Tennessee facility. The former home of Saturn production will be getting a $167 million addition to a previously announced $183 million, to cover a pair of new midsize vehicles. The investment is expected to create 1,800 jobs at the factory.
That $350 million is being divvied up for a pair of programs at Spring Hill. The first will take the bulk of the money ($223 million) and create 1,000 of the 1,800 jobs, while the other will take the remaining $127 million and generate the leftover 800 positions. But GM says the investment will cover "midsize vehicle programs." So what could they be?
The leading candidate in our minds is a new crossover for Buick, called the Anthem, that will slot between the Encore and Enclave, but will be slightly smaller than the Equinox and Terrain. As we've explained, the new model will likely be the first product to sport GM's new D2UX platform, which will eventually replace both the Delta and Theta platforms. Spring Hill is already building the Equinox, so there could be some credence to this theory.
