1955 CHEVY BEL AIR PATINA STREET ROD. THIS IS A COOL RIDE 95 PERCENT RUST FREE. ORIGINAL PATINA THE KIND YOU CAN NOT RECREATE UNLESS YOU HAVE 50 YEARS TO SPARE WAITING FOR THE EARTH TO DO ITS MAGIC. THIS CAR IS A HEAD TURNER EVERY WHERE I HAVE EVER TOOK IT. INSIDE IF CAR HAS BEEN REDONE WITH NEW INTERIOR AND ORIGINAL CHROME AND GAUGES. THERE IS A CD PLAYER INSTALLED IN THE GLOVE BOX (AS SEEN IN PICTURE). THE FLOOR PANS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. THE TRUNK IS IN THE BEST SHAPE I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME IN A BEL AIR. GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place.
