2005 Chevrolet Aveo on 2040-cars

Up for sale is my 2005 Chevy Aveo. I bought this car in 2006 from the original owner. It had 3,800 miles on it. It now has 61,419 miles. This was my everyday car. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car...EXCEPT...it has no backseats. I took the backseats out to haul some stuff in it. I never put them back in, because I didn't have a need for them. Well, I went to go get them out of storage, and mice had made a nice home out of them. So no backseats. But the positive is, there is plenty of room for stuff. But other than that, there is nothing else wrong. I've been very anal with the up keep on this car. I changed the oil every 3 to 4,000 miles with amsoil synthetic oil. I flushed and replaced the antifreeze on it a few times. Even changed the brake/ clutch fluid on it.  Front brakes and rotors were replace about 6,000 miles ago. I recently replaced the outer tie rod ends because the rubber boots on the old ones were dry rotted and cracked. The car did get an alignment after that. I washed this car weekly in the winter time, and it shows. There is no rust or bubbles on this car, including bottom of doors and quarter panels. It's very solid and clean. Never had it in the shop for problems or breakdowns. If you're looking for cheap and reliable transportation, this car is perfect. I'm asking less than what Kelly Blue Book says, and that's because of the backseats.

All 4 tires are new, and the PA inspection is good until February 2015.

There is a $500.00 paypal payment due within 24 hours after the end of the auction. The rest of the payment is due within 2 weeks. Picking up the car is buyers responsibility.

If you have any questions, or want to see the car, just let me know.

Thanks

Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?

Wed, 27 Feb 2013

If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.

Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.
