2002 Chevy avalanche 1500 4x4 Z71,
5.3 L V8,
181,291 miles currently on the truck (still driven),
3-4" suspension lift,
33" equivalent tires (50% tread),
New alignment, lots of new steering parts, new battery, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, both front wheel bearings changed within the last year or so. new brakes. New rear main seal (old one was leaking).
Everything on the truck works just fine!
Body is in pretty good shape. Only one small spot of rust over the driver rear wheel. (Can't see the spot, only can feel a small bubble).
Has a dent over the passenger front quarter panel (Shown in picture).
Check engine light comes on from time to time. Nothing noticeable wrong with the way it runs..
Also, there is a decent sized hole in the rear drivers side seat. I can get a picture of this. I planned on getting seat covers for the truck to "fix".
The truck was rear ended in 2011 - Damage was never fixed - see scratches on tailgate .
I've owned the truck since it had 100,500 miles. Never had troubles with it - been a great truck! My reason for selling is I got a new job and the drive is 62 miles round trip - Looking to get a more fuel efficient car and save some gas $.

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:

GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.
