2006 Cadillac XLR, 24,700 miles, 5 Speed with tiptronic transmission, Star Black Limited Edition with shale leather interior and rare dark wood console, V-series wheels, Power windows, Power Locks, Heads up display, Dual Climate Control, Power Tilt steering, Adaptive Cruise control, Traction Control, Power Leather driver and passenger seats, Heated and cooled driver and passenger seats, Power mirrors, Bose Sound system with 6 Disc CD changer, DVD entertainment center, Navigation with voice activation, Adaptive headlights, Rear defogger, Car cover, Excellent condition in and out with minor defects for age of vehicle. This vehicle is garaged year round and driven by a nonsmoker. It gets the best of care and never gets driven in the rain. Undercarriage is clean and rust free. The car is represented to the best of my ability and is sold as is without a warranty. It is a 2 owner vehicle originally from Florida. I purchased the vehicle with about 3,000 miles on it in 2007 from a Wisconsin GM dealer who acquired it through the GM buyback program with a 3 year 50,000 mile warranty. Ive never had any problems with the vehicle. The accident in the history report was cosmetic damage to the front bumper cover.

Cadillac ATS Coupe spy photos show more sedate two-door
Tue, 23 Apr 2013Remember when the Cadillac CTS Coupe debuted, and we were all like, "Oh hello there?" Well, don't expect the same thing to happen when the new ATS Coupe is unveiled - these brand new (overexposed) spy shots show a two-door that's decidedly more sedate than the angular yet curvaceous and all-around good-looking CTS Coupe. This isn't to say that the smaller Caddy Coupe won't be attractive - the four-door version is plenty pretty, to be sure - it just likely won't have that extra somethin'-somethin' to truly set it apart from the sedan.
Fine, then. We don't doubt that the two-door ATS will be just as enjoyable to drive as its sedan sibling, with a lot of the mechanical stuff likely carrying over unchanged. That includes the powertrain options, meaning buyers will be able to choose from the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four, turbocharged 2.0-liter four, or larger free-breathing 3.6-liter V6.
Look for the 2014 ATS Coupe to enter production in January of next year, meaning a reveal later this year (LA Auto Show, perhaps?) would be in order.
First Cadillac ELR rolls off the line
Thu, 30 May 2013Gearing up for the Belle Isle Grand Prix this weekend, General Motors invited some of the Chevrolet and Cadillac racecar drivers out to its Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant. While there, the racers - including IndyCar Driver and Chevrolet Volt owner, Simona De Silvestro - witnessed the very first 2014 Cadillac ELR to roll off the assembly line.
These vehicles are not destined for customers, however, but instead pre-production units will be used by engineers for testing purposes. Actual production of ELR consumer models is expected to commence closer to the end of this year. As a refresher, this range-extended electric Cadillac shares much of its powertrain with the Volt but will have a sportier coupe design inspired by the Converj Concept. Cadillac recalls ELR coupe over stability control problems
Fri, 28 Mar 2014Cadillac is recalling about 656 2014 ELR models made between September 26, 2013 and February 14, 2014, because of a fault with the electronic stability control system. On cars without adaptive cruise control, it's possible that diagnostics could prevent the system from telling the driver if ESC is on or off.
Cadillac has a software fix ready and repairs begin on April 17. Alan Adler, General Motors' recall and legal spokesperson, tells Autoblog that only about 55 of the affected cars are in the hands of owners. The rest are either on dealer lots or still at the factory. There have been no reported injuries or crashes caused by the fault.
The correction for the stability control system involves a software recalibration of the electronic brake control module that takes around 20 minutes to perform. While they use the same platform, the Chevrolet Volt isn't involved in this recall because it "uses a different a brake control module," said Adler.
