Newport, Tennessee, United States
UP FOR SALE IS A VERY CLEAN 1976 CADILLAC SEVILLE. I TOOK THE CAR IN ON TRADE AND SIMPLY DON'T NEED IT. IVE DRIVEN IT SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH TIME I AM AMAZED AT THE COMFORT AND RIDE OF THIS CADILLAC. I CAME ACROSS THE CADILLAC FROM AN ELDERLY GENTLEMAN WHO'S LATE FATHER LEFT IT TO HIM. LEFT INSIDE THE VEHICLE ARE TONS OF MECHANICAL RECORDS ALONG WITH THE OWNERSHIP HISTORY. THE HISTORY STATES THIS CADILLAC WAS PLACED IN SERVICE ON FEBRUARY 25,1976 AND WAS ONE OF THE 1976 MASTERS GOLF TOURNAMENT COURTESY CARS. AFTER 312 MILES WERE PUT ON THE CADILLAC IT WAS SOLD IN HARRIMAN, TN BY SEXTON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC ON MAY 19, 1976. THEN ITS FIRST ACTUAL OWNER ON JUNE 20, 1976 TO A LOCAL COUPLE. IT ALSO SHOWS THE NEXT TWO OWNERS AS WELL AS OVER 20 PAGES OF NOTES THE ELDERLY GENTLEMAN HAD SCRIBBLED ON NOTEPAD PAPER. ALSO A FEW DOZEN RECEIPTS FROM DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND AUTO PARTS STORES ARE INCLUDED ITEMS REPLACED OR REPAIRED ON THE CADILLAC.
THE CADILLAC IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR A 38 YEAR OLD VEHICLE. VINYL TOP IS IN GREAT CONDITION, ALL THE WINDOWS HAVE STRONG MOTORS AND WORK CORRECTLY, THE A/C STILL WORKS GREAT, ORIGINAL FLOORMATS AND INTERIOR THAT IS ALSO IN GOOD CONDITION. EVERYTHING APPEARS TO BE FACTORY AND THE BEST I CAN TELL FROM THE HARDLY LEGIBLE NOTES, THE CADILLAC WAS REPAINTED THE ORIGINAL GM PAINT CODE 39 (KINGSWOOD GREEM) (IRID) IN LATE 1992. THE PAINTWORK IS GREAT AND DOESN'T HAVE ANY FLAWS WHATSOEVER. HEADLINER IS IN GREAT CONDITION, RADIO ANTENNA STILL POWERS UP AND DOWN, SPARE IS INCLUDED AS WELL AS THE GENUINE GENERAL MOTORS TIRE INFLATOR CAN THAT CAME FACTORY WITH THE CADILLAC. MOTOR RUNS STRONG WITH NO ISSUES (I BELIEVE IT DOES HAVE A SMALL OIL LEAK COMING FROM THE BREAKDOWN OF THE VALVE COVER GASKET) GOOD SHAPE MICHELIN TIRES, NO RUST ON THE CADILLAC AND LOOKS GREAT. THE TRUNK LOCK COVER IS MISSING, ALSO THE REAR PLASTIC ABOVE THE REAR BUMPER HAS A FEW CRACKS IN IT AS SEEN IN PICS. ALL THE OWNERS MANUALS ARE INCLUDED AS WELL. OVERALL THE CADILLAC IS IN GREAT CONDITION, IT HAS WON BEST OF CLASS A COUPLE TIMES AT SOME SHOWS IN THE KNOXVILLE AREA. CLEAN CLEAR TN TITLE, PLEASE EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS. I WILL HELP WITH SHIPPING IF BUYER CHOOSES TO HAVE THE VEHICLE SHIPPED. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AND HAVE FINANCES READILY AVAILABLE. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK |

Cadillac ATS Coupe spy photos show more sedate two-door
Tue, 23 Apr 2013Remember when the Cadillac CTS Coupe debuted, and we were all like, "Oh hello there?" Well, don't expect the same thing to happen when the new ATS Coupe is unveiled - these brand new (overexposed) spy shots show a two-door that's decidedly more sedate than the angular yet curvaceous and all-around good-looking CTS Coupe. This isn't to say that the smaller Caddy Coupe won't be attractive - the four-door version is plenty pretty, to be sure - it just likely won't have that extra somethin'-somethin' to truly set it apart from the sedan.
Fine, then. We don't doubt that the two-door ATS will be just as enjoyable to drive as its sedan sibling, with a lot of the mechanical stuff likely carrying over unchanged. That includes the powertrain options, meaning buyers will be able to choose from the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four, turbocharged 2.0-liter four, or larger free-breathing 3.6-liter V6.
Look for the 2014 ATS Coupe to enter production in January of next year, meaning a reveal later this year (LA Auto Show, perhaps?) would be in order.
2014 Cadillac CTS configurator open for business
Thu, 26 Sep 2013Cadillac has just set the new configurator for the redesigned, 2014 CTS live. While we've already tested out the new CTS, this is our first chance to play with all the interior and exterior color options and to get a fair idea of the price. The new CTS covers a broad swath from the $46,025 base model, with the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, to the $59,995 VSport, complete with its brawny, 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6.
It doesn't take much to send the CTS's price up from there, though. Opt for the VSport Premium trim, and the price immediately jumps $10,000. Opting for one of the premium paint colors is all that's needed to nudge the CTS past $70,000. For reference, a 556-horsepower CTS-V (previous-generation, naturally) starts at $64,515.
Click over and have a look at the configurator for yourself.
2013 Cadillac XTS [w/video]
Wed, 30 Jan 2013The Cadillac Of Stopgaps
As confusing as most alphanumeric car names have gotten in recent years, at least one constant has been that the letter "X" is generally indicative of a crossover. Then why did General Motors use this letter on its new 2013 Cadillac XTS luxury sedan? Well, for that, we'll have to look to the world of mathematics where "X" stands for an unknown variable or a placeholder. Now we're talking. The XTS is just an interim product sitting at the top of Cadillac's four-door food chain until the brand gets a true flagship in place. That sounds like a lot of resources to spend on what will likely be a one-and-done model, but the automaker needed to get something - anything - to replace the DTS.
So here you have the 2013 XTS. A big luxury sedan that was created to bridge the gap between Cadillac's recent past and its pending future. Going into our week with this XTS knowing that it was a stopgap measure proved to be both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, we know (or hope) that this car will act as a baseline for future high-end Cadillac models, but at the same time, we couldn't help but be mindful of past stopgap models, albeit in more entry-level segments, like the Cimarron and Catera.
