This is a very nice, 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 9 passenger Limousine in good condition inside and out. This car is extremely rare as they built only 710 series 75 sedans and who knows how many are left in the world. It is a great driver for someone as it has had a mild restoration. This caddy was used for the last several years by a specialty Limo company for wedding and special events in northern California. It runs and drives very good and would make a great cruiser, promotional car or functional limo. It has spent most of its life in California. This 1959 Cadillac limo has newer paint job and looks good for a driver. The front and rear chrome bumpers have been redone and look great. The rest of the trim on this car and is completely original and in very good condition for a driver. All of the glass is in excellent condition except one of the rear windows has a small crack. It is sitting on its original wheels and hubcaps wrapped with wide whitewall tires. It has a very nice interior that is a mix of original and redone. All the door panels look to be original. The carpet, headliner front and rear seat have been redone and look very nice. Everything works in the car except the power front seat, horn, clock and original AM radio which are all easy fixes. The rear jump seats are original. The dash pad is original and looks great. It has a broken horn ring and a couple of cracks in the steering wheel. Inside the trunk has been recently redone and looks very nice. Mechanically, the engine and transmission run very good! This Cadillac drives with no issues at all as it should be for use as a limo! The 390ci motor provides great power to move this little diamond around. The car fires right up and runs great. The engine compartment is all stock and original looking. It has factory air conditioning that looks to be all there but needs to be serviced. Fire her up and she's ready to cruise. 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe favors cleanliness over radical lines
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Though you might not know it from looking at vehicles like the XTS and Escalade, if you take a broader look at history, you'll see that Cadillac models have gotten a lot smaller from the tail-finned highway cruisers of old. At least when it comes to coupes, anyway. The Eldorado, in particular, kept getting smaller until it disappeared, its place taken in recent years by decidedly more compact XLR, CTS Coupe and ELR hybrid. What you see here, however, is Cadillac's smallest coupe yet.
Revealed today at the Detroit Auto Show is the new 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe, the brand's first compact two-door coupe, and the first production car to wear the brand's all-new crest. It shares the same platform and wheelbase as the existing ATS sedan, but packs a wider track and unique bodywork that's decidedly more conservative and less unique in its angular styling than the CTS Coupe that it's likely to ultimately displace in the Cadillac lineup. Styling aside, the all-American luxury marque has engineered the ATS Coupe with a focus on reducing weight to the benefit of both performance and fuel economy, giving it near 50/50 weight balance front to rear with underbody aerodynamic elements helping it cheat the wind.
Buyers will be able to choose between two engines: a 2.0-liter turbo four and a 3.6-liter V6.
Cadillac rushing update for laggy CUE infotainment system
Tue, 05 Feb 2013BMW's innovative iDrive was introduced in 2001, and a dozen years later, automakers are still learning hard lessons about what consumers want in their infotainment systems. In response to owner feedback - and a few media drubbings - about the delayed and occasionally fickle responses of its CUE (short for Cadillac User Experience) system, Cadillac has told Wired that it's going to issue an update this year.
Coming for the XTS and ATS, the new software will mean quicker haptic feedback to driver inputs on the touchscreen and the buttons, and snappier responses on screen. Down the road, Cadillac's VP of marketing says that a different mix of screen controls and hard buttons is "something you'll be seeing in the future" - the system is presently a mix of touchscreen-based controls and capacitive-touch switchgear - there are no knobs or physical pushbuttons to speak of, and the omission of both has proven to be a divisive issue among consumers and industry pundits.
Cadillac hasn't provided a date for when the CUE update will be issued, but it has indicated that the service will be performed by dealers, not sent wirelessly.
