2010 Cadillac Escalade Platinum AWD

If you are looking for a Platinum Escalade, you won't find a cleaner, nicer 2010 at a lower price. This one is priced to move. If you find one cheaper, check to be sure that it's an ALL WHEEL DRIVE, because all of the lower price ones that I have found are RWD models. You want the AWD model. 403 HP is too powerful to not have the AWD.

The Platinum package is by far superior to the other Escalades. It adds the Platinum grill, HID headlights, Platinum 22" chromed wheels, heated and cooled drink holders, heated and air-conditioned seats, upgraded wood dash, headrest DVD monitors as well as the overhead monitor. Each headrest monitor has a built-in DVD player that can play on either screen.

Front windows are also tinted to match rear glass.

This Escalade is in terrific condition and has never been wrecked or smoked in. It will have no more miles put on it and is sitting in my garage with a fresh detail and full tank of gas waiting on its new owner.

Seinfeld and Don Rickles stretch out in classic Caddy for latest CiCGC

It's no surprise that for the newest episode of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, airing for the first time on the 4th of July, that a couple of American classics are involved. You'll Never Play the Copa unites Seinfeld with legendary curmudgeon Don Rickles, driving around in a stunner of a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville in Gleneagles Green (upholstery wrapped in Grandma-spec plastic, of course).
Mr. Rickles really steals the show in this one - maybe our favorite CiCGC to date - though the Eldorado plays a strong-jawed costarring role, for sure. Stories about Ronald Regan, Frank Sinatra, Billy Graham and, of course, Herkie Styles are more than worth the price of admission. Check it out below.

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
