Folks this is Extra Clean and a nice one...

This is a super Nice Escalade with only 89k miles 6.2L AWD. This is black. We bought this from the insurance company. We bought this almost 2 years ago in Huntsville Alabama from an insurance company. I have driven this daily for almost 2 years. This was deemed a flood in Huntsville (there was no water in this car). Apparently the owner wanted a insurance payout and filled the gas tank up with water. We simple flushed the tank and have driven it for almost 2 years. Everything works except the automatic folding seats (never checked it) but the Rear gate is Automatic open and close which works fine.  Also the left headlight does not work due to the headlight seal breaking ($200) ebay. minor scuffs on bumpers. The foglights work fine. This has XM, Sunroof, Navigation, AC Cooled seats (and heated),  Nice tires, Backup sensors,  Super Clean. Appears like all original paint and never any accident.  The car Drives Like a New one.   Mechanically perfect. There will be an extra $200 fee added to the winning bid of this auction for a dealer service fee.

This car runs and drives PERFECT. My most favorite and best car I have owned.

This has an Alabama Clean Clear rebuilt Title (already inspected).

Cadillac HQ has a New York address

Sun, 16 Nov 2014

The new home of Cadillac will be in the 330 Hudson building in New York City's Hudson Square, putting the luxury marque smack dab in the middle of three of the city's hippest areas, SoHo, Greenwich Village and Tribeca.
The announcement is yet another milestone in the company's controversial decision to relocate administrative and marketing operations away from Detroit and into the Big Apple.
"The addition of a headquarters office in New York is a key step in Cadillac's ongoing global expansion," Cadillac boss Johan de Nysschen said, according to The Detroit Free Press. "There is no better atmosphere in which to better immerse ourselves into luxury consumer and brand expertise."

Cadillac's Butler announces surprise departure

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Cadillac's vice president of global strategic development, Don Butler, has resigned. Butler has held the position since April, after a term as vice president of US marketing for General Motor's luxury brand.
As the report explains, the timing here is pretty unfortunate for Cadillac. Butler is the third high-profile member of Cadillac's brass to depart in recent months, following the firing of US sales boss Chase Hawkins and the pending departure of Susan Docherty. Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell told the Detroit paper, "Bob [Ferguson]," global boss for Cadillac, "and other leaders asked him to stay on. Don's here in the office today - and told our team that his decision is purely on a personal level. After three years of putting everything into Cadillac, he is stepping away for some personal time, and to consider new avenues in his life."
Butler says his decision is part of a decision to "recalibrate, reassess my priorities." Whatever the reason, it's an unpleasant surprise for Cadillac, which has been on a surge in 2013, with 30-percent jump in sales on the heels of the hot-selling ATS.

Cadillac's de Nysschen won't budge on raised pricing

Thu, 18 Sep 2014

According to new Cadillac boss Johan de Nysschen, it will take between 10 and 15 years to elevate GM's top brand, which was once hailed as "The Standard Of The World," back to prominence in the minds of American customers. And to hear the executive talk of it, the brand is going to have to be willing to see sales falter in the near-term before they recover:
"Either you have to bring your volume aspirations into alignment with reality and accept that you will sell fewer cars... Or you have to drop the price and continue to transact at the prices where you were historically... I think the logical conclusion is that it's better to build off a very solid base in terms of [product] credibility, charge a fair price for the car and realize you have to wait until the volume comes."
In other words, sales will fall before they rise, and the brand has to be okay with that. Notice, too, that de Nysschen speaks of "a fair price" for Cadillac cars and utility vehicles. In this case, "fair" means more than many of the brand's traditional buyers are accustomed to, and roughly in line with the brands and machines Cadillac believes it is competing against. For instance, the newly enlarged 2014 CTS carries a suggested retail price that is over $6,000 higher than it was in 2013, and some trim levels boast an even higher price premium over the models they replace.
