Everything is in working order and is fully equipped with power locks, power windows, power trunk pull down, am/fm radio, a-track player, power seats, ice cold a/c, cruise control, power antenna, lighted vanity mirrors, . The color of the exterior is ruidoso saddle and is original rust free condition with factory pinstriping and beautiful matching original vinyl top with opera lamps. The only paint work done to the car was the front and rear body fillers. The chrome is flawless and shiny, the interior is tan and in immaculate shape with no tears ,rips or holes.The mileage is original, it is reading 28,800. It has special order vogue tires in new condition. This car needs nothing, it can easily make a trip cross country. The engine is the 7.0 litre 425 c.i with the turbo 400 trans both performing flawlessly. Some recent repairs include full tune up and carb rebuilt, front wheel bearing, brake master cylinder. Cadillac logo losing its wreath?
Tue, 23 Jul 2013The easily recognizable Cadillac logo dates back to the company's founding in the early 1900s, but over the last 110 years, there has been an on-again, off-again love affair with the wreath surrounding the crest. Cadillac's current badge design has used the wreath since the 1980s, but Automotive News is reporting that GM's luxury division is planning to ditch the laurel wreath for a cleaner-looking logo.
The new logo could make its debut as early as next month on a new concept car that will be revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, although the report also says that it might be until 2015 before it makes its way to a production car. Even then, it doesn't like anything has been finalized yet, as the article also says that plans could still change.
As Cadillac looks to improve its global presence as a luxury automaker, the report says that a simpler logo could make it easier for designers to incorporate the badge onto the car - either in the grille or above the grille (possibly in a fashion similar to Mercedes-Benz). Cadillac confirmed Friday morning it will build its new flagship sedan, expected to be called the LTS, starting in late in 2015 in Detroit.
Cadillac bids farewell to CTS-V Coupe with special edition
Mon, 12 May 2014With the introduction of the latest Cadillac CTS, we knew it would only be a matter of time before a new CTS-V would come along. Now General Motors has revealed that the next CTS-V will arrive sometime next year, but before it does, the company is sending off the outgoing coupe with a special edition.
For 2015, the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will come in a limited edition of 500 units decked out with a dark grille treatment, satin-finish wheels, red brake calipers and an upgraded cabin. The interior is decked out Recaro seats trimmed in black with red stitching, Midnight Sapele wood trim, metal pedals and a microsuede-trimmed steering wheel and shifter.
Buyers will be able to opt for white, gray or optional black exterior paint, an available sunroof and a six-speed transmission in either manual or automatic configuration. Of course, the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 comes standard with 556 horsepower, as does Magnetic Ride Control and brakes by Brembo.
