1987 Cadillac Eldorado Special Edition
Hello Everyone. I am selling this car for my Nephew in Florida. The Car is located in the Orlando FL. The body is in decent shape for a 26 Year Old Car. The cars engine purrs like a kitten. The Alternator recently was replaced. The Starter was recently rebuilt. The Radiator was also replaced less than a year ago. The timing belt was replaced about 2 1/2 years ago. The Original Wheels come with the cars, plus the rims that you see on the car now. Recently the car starting having trouble with the Tranny. He states that it will go in Drive and reverse, but it does not come out of what feels like 1st gear. Before this happen, the car ran excellent. The Digital Dash also is not displaying. The carpet in the trunk needs to be replaced due to some kind of burnt marks. The leather in the front seats have cracks and one of the headrest has a torn off piece of the leather. The passenger side front seat has a small bracket underneath that is cracked. The Exterior of the car is pretty Solid. The tires are in good shape. First Cadillac ELR rolls off the line
Thu, 30 May 2013Gearing up for the Belle Isle Grand Prix this weekend, General Motors invited some of the Chevrolet and Cadillac racecar drivers out to its Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant. While there, the racers - including IndyCar Driver and Chevrolet Volt owner, Simona De Silvestro - witnessed the very first 2014 Cadillac ELR to roll off the assembly line.
These vehicles are not destined for customers, however, but instead pre-production units will be used by engineers for testing purposes. Actual production of ELR consumer models is expected to commence closer to the end of this year. As a refresher, this range-extended electric Cadillac shares much of its powertrain with the Volt but will have a sportier coupe design inspired by the Converj Concept. Cadillac issues stop-sale on recalled CTS, SRX
Mon, 21 Jul 2014General Motors has issued a stop-sale order on the Cadillac CTS and SRX, both of which were recalled late last month. Why the stop-sale after all this time? Well, um, GM apparently doesn't know how to fix them.
The stop-sale covers all used Cadillac CTS sedans, coupes and wagons from model years 2003 to 2013, as well as new 2014 coupes and wagons. The SRX crossover stop-sale, meanwhile, only covers used vehicles from model years 2004 to 2006.
Automotive News reached out to GM spokesperson Alan Adler, who told the news pub that the company's engineers were "looking at one common solution" for the affected vehicles, although "they don't have it yet."
