This is a great running and driving example of a great classic car. Sadly I need to sell her because I have no time or room anymore.

I would describe it as an above average driver. It is a older repaint that shines nice but has some dings and a few bubbles showing around the windows. The lower areas are solid with no signs of rust as well as the frame and floors.

All the glass is good with no cracks. Windshield looks newer. Crome and trim is all there and good with some pitting.

Interior is clean with no cracks in the dash or door panels. Headliner is clear of any tears or sags.

Tires have 80% tread left and no cracking.

What is working-- Air conditioning- heater- clock- radio - lights- all signals- all power windows except R rear - wipers - power seat- speedo - aftermarket VDO gauges temp, oil pressure, volts ,vacuum

What is not working- - headlight doors- fuel gauge - power door locks - antenna motor -

I have owned the car for just over a year. The previous owner in Florida had it for over 20.

40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.

One of the biggest debuts at the Monterey car week, both literally and figuratively, was the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept. The massive coupe made quite a splash with the show's well-heeled guests. Now, we have what might be the very first images of the Elmiraj, or whatever it may be called when it reaches production, out testing.
Don't let that modified Chevrolet Caprice body fool you, this car is about four to six inches longer than Chevy's US-spec cop car, from the A-pillar forward. According to our spy, with the Caprice at 203 inches and the concept at 205, adding a few extra inches here and there fits the bill for the four-door Elmiraj that was hinted at in Jay Leno's Garage.
There are a number of other classic mule signs on this car, including a cover over the fuel door and heavily modified front and rear fascias, each of which serves to hide some significant change from the standard Caprice. Using a Caprice for development also, hopefully, hints at something that big Cadillacs like the XTS have lacked - rear-wheel drive.

Cadillac has pulled the wraps off of its newest family member, the long-rumored, Voltec-powered, eye-catching extended range hybrid coupe called the ELR. The car makes use of the same basic architecture as the Chevrolet Volt, but has been thoroughly layered on with design, technology and performance tuning - with the goal of being a properly situated product for the Cadillac brand.
