1975 Cadillac Coupe Deville. 85000 miles. This car runs and drives great. Very smooth driver. Leather interior. Interior in good shape overall. Has small crack in dash. Front seats have normal wear. Headliner and rear seat area in good to great condition. The paint is good but clearcoat starting to come off in spots. New alternator. I've had zero problems out of car besides alternator. I bought with 57000 miles. I've put 27000 miles on it since I bought around 10 years ago. I've put around 1700 in front end work recently. Ball joints,bushings,pittman arm,swaybar,etc. It rides great. Power everything. All windows, seats, locks, work. Cruise. Telescopic steering wheel adjustment. I have all original paperwork from wright motors in Henderson Kentucky including owners manual and gold set of keys in case. There is a small area u can see in pictures (approx 8" by 8" area) that is dented on from a limb. There is some rust that is forming just below the top trim on side of car. Rest of car rust free. All lights and signals work. Brakes work good. Door pins and hinges replaced recently doors shut good. Trunk area is clean and looks nearly original. With some work this car could b a show car or driven as is and still looks good. 500 required within 24 hrs of auction end. The remaining balance due by time of pickup. Cadillac confirms 420-hp twin-turbo V6 for 2014 CTS [w/videos]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013The 2014 CTS will break cover next week at the New York Auto Show, but Cadillac has released a few details of what we can expect to find under the car's hood. As we saw in some spy shots back in January, the biggest news for the midsize Caddy will be a twin-turbocharged V6 producing a whopping 420 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.
This LF3 engine will be paired to a new eight-speed automatic transmission, which will help balance performance and fuel economy. We still don't know how much the 2014 CTS has grown in terms of size and weight, but General Motors says that new sedan will return 17 miles per gallon in the city and 25 mpg highway with the new engine to go with a 0-60 mile per hour time of 4.6 seconds - that means the new CTS will have the fuel economy close to the current base model sedan and acceleration not too far from the current CTS-V. General Motors also confirmed that this twin-turbo V6 will be available in the 2014 XTS this fall.
The next-generation CTS will carry over the 3.6-liter V6 from the current car (likely as a base engine) and also add the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder from the ATS. Check out all the details on this new engine and watch a few videos (including GM's nifty tilt rig) by scrolling below.
Cadillac Elmiraj has production potential
Tue, 20 Aug 2013There are many reasons to love the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept, but not the least of which is how production-ready this big coupe appears to be. Take out the overly fancy interior and a few conceptual elements of the exterior, and this looks like a coupe that could be in dealers now as the successor to the Eldorado.
On top of that, Automotive News is quoting Bob Ferguson, Cadillac senior vice president, as saying that a production version of this car is "very doable." AN adds that if the Monterey showstopper gets the green-light, this car would compete against the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and would based on Cadillac's upcoming rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan due out in 2015. The range-topping coupe would debut sometime after the sedan model. Cross your fingers.
