Fresh paint. Silver metal flake roof. I put 20 coats of clear over the metal flake. The car does need sanded and buffed, there is some dirt in the paint. Chromobase base clear paint. There is 3 coats of color and 4 coats of clear. The car runs and drives great, but has been sitting for a while.  Has a new radiator and water pump. 472. It is going to need a tailpipe, has an exhaust leak in pass sd manifold. It does leak power steering fluid, I believe it is just the power steering return line (easy fix). Motor runs great. Does Not burn oil, leak oil, smoke or tap. Runs great. Interior is in fair to good condition. Power seat does not work, but the power windows do work. Trunk is full of extra trim pieces from another car. Has 16 x 7 reverse dish Dayton wire wheels. The car is lowered, but drivable. Has not been inspected for a few years. But has been garage kept. THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR, IT IS A DAILY DRIVER. Good solid floors and trunk.  Quarters are a little wavy.  Not a perfect car, but a clean car.  Like I said before, this car has been sitting for a few years.  If you are coming from far away and plan on driving home, you do at your own risk. Cadillac teases production ELR ahead of Detroit Auto Show

Tue, 18 Dec 2012

General Motors has just confirmed that the 2014 Cadillac ELR will make its official debut next month at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. We've already seen the ELR testing earlier this year using the same range-extended electric drive system as the Chevrolet Volt, and based on the shadowy image above, we're happy to see that the coupe's styling has stayed pretty true to 2009 Converj Concept.
The two-door ELR will be built alongside the Volt at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck plant starting later next year. Aside from this info, Cadillac has remained tight-lipped on the specific details of the car. But all that will all change on January 15.
Until then, all we have to offer you is the press release posted after the jump.

2015 Cadillac Escalade

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

I have never liked traveling to Monterey, CA. The picturesque coastal city is about 300 miles from my home in Los Angeles, which means cramped and uncomfortable regional aircraft are part of the equation when the turnaround is only one night. Over the years, I have cursed the LA Basin's bumper-to-bumper traffic en route to the airport, argued with TSA personnel over carry-on baggage and waited countless hours for the fog to lift just for the anguish of being packed into a small regional jet for the flight. Of course, the process repeats on the trip home with equal misery.
Yet this time I am not suffering.
Cadillac has dropped its all-new 2015 Escalade in my driveway. Instead of battling city congestion, attempting to reason with misinformed government agents, snacking on a too-small bag of pretzels and physically rubbing shoulders with a dubious stranger for 90-plus minutes within the confines of a bumpy aircraft, I have chosen to forgo air travel and drive myself door-to-door in a fullsize luxury sport utility vehicle.
