2000 Cadillac Catera 4 Door 76k 76,000 Miles Mechanic Special 3.0 Liter Save Gas on 2040-cars
Baltimore, Maryland, United States
Hello I have for sale a very very nice and low mileage 2000 Cadillac Catera 4 door sedan with 3.0 Liter. I can't afford to repair right now but these could be a great car for you once repairs are completed I will list everything I know is wrong with the car so you can know exactly what you are buying before bidding. Please do not bid unless you intened to pay within 5 days I really would rather not having to relist the vehicle. The vehicle is driveable but maybe best to have driven away if you choose. This vehicle needs work. It is very low milage but may need head gasket as the vehicle smokes from the top of engine head. The vehicle starts and drives but needs a jump to start so it will need a battery replaced and needs four new tires as these are really low and balding. The radio is locked from the battery dying so you will need to get the unlock codes or replace radio. The leather is in great condition the steering wheel could use a cover as it is peeling a little, the interior is in good condition but could use a detail. Glove box works but needs a lock replaced. Paint (top coat) is peeling on some areas of the car a little on the trunk and hood of car. Few paint scratches on bumper and around wheel well. This is a really nice car but I dont have the funds to repair right now. Thats all of the issues that I am aware of. Thanks for looking and goodluck bidding. Clear MD Title. |

Cadillac shows dealers convertible rendering
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Cadillac is getting serious about revitalizing and expanding its lineup, and to that end, a new report claims that brand boss Johan de Nysschen has been showing plans for several new models to the marque's dealer body - among them, a new convertible.
The droptop which Cadillac reportedly showed its dealers in sketch form, would be based on the same platform as the ATS and CTS, those it's unclear to which (if either) of those model lines the new convertible would be added, or whether the design features a canvas or folding hardtop roof. One way or another, it would be the first time Cadillac would offer a convertible since the Corvette-based XLR roadster was discontinued more than five years ago.
Quoting an unnamed brand spokesperson, Cadillac would "like to introduce an open car to the portfolio at some point," however, "it's not likely to be one of the near-term portfolio additions."
Cadillac could 'flourish' in Australia, says marketing chief
Thu, 13 Mar 2014Cadillac might have its best product mix in recent history, and GM's luxury brand is looking to expand. In fact, it might even be making a trip Down Under, at least according to the company's global marketing chief.
Uwe Ellinghaus spoke with Australian site Car Advice at the Geneva Motor Show and said the brand could be quite successful there. "[The] goodwill that the Cadillac brand has is such a good starting base that once we get proper volume commitment and a dealer network behind it we can easily flourish," he said, though he warned that the plans are still in their earliest stages and years away. First, Cadillac will expand in markets with the highest possible sales, like China and Russia.
Ellinghaus said that the most likely models for Oz would be the SRX, Escalade and CTS; the latter would probably act as a replacement for the Holden Commodore. GM's Australian arm is ending local production in 2017, and there have been many rumors about what is happening to the big sedan. However, Ellinghaus admits exporting cars from the US to Australia is going to mean higher prices. In addition to the expense, Cadillac doesn't currently build any right-hand-drive models. It would likely take until the end of the decade before the Aussie models could be ready.
2015 Cadillac Escalade
Fri, 29 Aug 2014I have never liked traveling to Monterey, CA. The picturesque coastal city is about 300 miles from my home in Los Angeles, which means cramped and uncomfortable regional aircraft are part of the equation when the turnaround is only one night. Over the years, I have cursed the LA Basin's bumper-to-bumper traffic en route to the airport, argued with TSA personnel over carry-on baggage and waited countless hours for the fog to lift just for the anguish of being packed into a small regional jet for the flight. Of course, the process repeats on the trip home with equal misery.
Yet this time I am not suffering.
Cadillac has dropped its all-new 2015 Escalade in my driveway. Instead of battling city congestion, attempting to reason with misinformed government agents, snacking on a too-small bag of pretzels and physically rubbing shoulders with a dubious stranger for 90-plus minutes within the confines of a bumpy aircraft, I have chosen to forgo air travel and drive myself door-to-door in a fullsize luxury sport utility vehicle.
