2007 Cadillac CTS V 6.0 Liter LS2 Corvette Motor 6-Speed Manual with 88,500 miles and a clean title. I am the third owner of this well maintained Caddy, Fully loaded including DVD, Navigation, Sirius XM Radio, 6 Disc CD changer, Heated Leather/suede interior, memory settings for 2 drivers, sunroof, tire pressure sensors, ICE COLD A/C....all the bells and whistles. The drive train is completely unmolested and bone stock. Upgrades include tinted windows, a Volant Cold Air Intake, and a Corsa Catback Exhuast System ($1500 system) which gives it a very aggressive sound at high RPM's but is very mild during everyday driving. The transmission was completely rebuilt 2 months ago and is still under warranty, the transmission shop said the clutch was like brand new as well. Brand new tires in all four corners just mounted and balanced. I have averaged as high as 26 MPG on the highway! This car is the perfect balance between modern muscle and a family sedan. Oil was recently changed with Royal Purple 5w-30 fully synthetic. This Caddy if factory rated at 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and 13.1 seconds in the 1/4 mile! Please call Mike at 815-621-2027. GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected
Tue, 20 May 2014General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.

Cadillac sales chief fired over policy violation
Sun, 21 Jul 2013Amidst a good year for Cadillac, which is experiencing higher sales gains than any other US brand this year, the US sales chief has been fired over a policy violation, Automotive News reports.
The sales chief, Chase Hawkins, "has left effective immediately," GM spokesman David Caldwell told Automotive News. Caldwell went on to say that Hawkins' replacement would be chosen soon.
Hawkins became the US sales chief in June 2012, and before that was the regional sales director for Cadillac in the Northeast US, overseeing 168 dealerships.
Cadillac's new ad campaign to tell you how to get lucky
Thu, 05 Sep 2013Cadillac is set to launch a new ad campaign this fall, as it attempts to maintain the momentum established by new models like the ATS. The campaign comes from an agency called Rogue, and according to AdAge, will lean on American values. It's called, "Work Hard. Be Lucky."
The campaign is fairly self-explanatory, just from the tagline. It's meant to make a Cadillac seem more attainable to the average, aspirational buyer. It does kind of pander to that American idea that everyone's hard work gets rewarded, but as ad campaigns go, that's not a bad thing.
Somehow, it doesn't roll off the tongue quite like "The Standard of the World." As AdAge points out, Cadillac's advertising over the years has lacked a real coherent theme, although we'll admit to enjoying the most recent campaigns, particularly the around-the-world jaunts with the ATS. It's unclear if the "Work Hard. Be Lucky." theme will evolve into an actual tagline for the brand, with Caddy spokesman Dave Caldwell telling the advertising mag, "It could very easily end up being a line of copy along with other lines; we don't really know yet. It's an open question as to how dramatically it will be featured."
