1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited 34k Original Miles! Lt1 on 2040-cars
Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States
1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited Collectors Edition with 34k miles!! Excellent condition Roadmaster with LT1 engine, from Oklahoma. Carfax verified 34k original miles. Elderly couple owned used once a week, well cared for. Runs and drives amazing, interior is near mint. Leather seats are perfect, I dont think back was ever sat in. All options, windows- cruise -power seats- lumbar work, AC and climate control works too. Body and paint are in great shape, no rust issues, cloth top is in great shape too. Before driving it 1200+ miles to NH, I had the mechanic check it thoroughly for trip. He was impressed at the overall condition, I had 4 new tires, all fluids replaced, and lube done. Had brakes checked and they are in excellent shape with plenty of pads left. The car performed perfect on long drive, floated on highway. (I would have preferred white wall tires but they were not in stock). It is in excellent daily driver condition now, would not take much to make show piece. If I was keeping it minor flaws I would address- Top of dash has sun fade spots. Has old school alarm and after market stereo that works but I would remove (I have original radio). Parking brake light is on, however parking brake is not engaged and mechanic could find no reason for light to be on. Side molding on drivers door is missing, I have piece just needs to be reattached. Although tires are new, I would put white walls on it, I included pic with white walls it had before. Car is located in Portsmouth NH, 1 hour north of Boston. |

Opel to be shuttered in China, but will restart Buick production in Germany
Fri, 28 Mar 2014Opel, General Motors' troubled German brand continues its quest to reinvent itself and find solid profitability. In the course of that metamorphosis, the company has a bit of good news/bad news today. The good news is, it will once again begin screwing together Buick models for the American market. The bad news, though, is that it's being shut down in yet another country, China.
Let's start with the good news. The last vehicle Opel's Ruesselsheim factory built for the North American market was the early run of the then-new Regal, which is based heavily on the Opel Insignia. Production ran for just over two years, from 2009 to 2011, before moving production to Oshawa, Ontario.
Now, thanks to a 245-million-euro investment (just over $336 million), Opel will kick off production of a unspecified model for the US in the "second half of the decade," according to Automotive News. According to Opel, the new model will be announced before the end of 2014. You can begin your speculation about this new model down in Comments (we're wagering it'll be the Cascada convertible, sold here under the Buick umbrella).
Opel Insignia OPC getting facelift. Will the Buick Regal GS see it, too?
Tue, 07 Aug 2012We've seen spy shots of the base Opel Insignia wearing facelifted front and rear ends, and now it appears that the more potent OPC version will be benefitting from a nip/tuck, as well.
The front bumper has been redesigned, incorporating new air intakes - toned-down versions of the model's signature fangs - as well as a new grille. Out back, there will be minimal changes to the overall fascia, most likely stuff like slightly redesigned taillamps, and inside, these spy shots show a larger navigation/infotainment screen sitting atop the center console.
This is all well and good for the Insignia, but we're wondering how these changes will impact North America's Buick Regal GS. No, it may not share the same powertrain punch as the Euro-spec OPC, but visually, the cars are nearly identical. When questioned about possible changes for the GS, a Buick spokesperson told us that the automaker "can't comment" on any changes at this point. Even so, we wouldn't be surprised if some small changes come our way in the next year or so.
New Buick Verano testing in Germany
Thu, 29 May 2014A refresh to Buick's popular Verano sedan appears to be nigh, thanks to these spy photos that show the tweaked four-door testing in Germany.
As with the current Verano, the refreshed model will have a great deal in common with its European platform-mates, the Vauxhall/Opel Astra. Each car rides on General Motors's Delta II platform. Unlike the current car, though, the refreshed model's styling could lean more heavily towards its European roots, if these photos are any indication.
Despite its commonality with the Astra Sedan, the Verano has featured its own unique styling since arriving in the US back in 2011 as a 2012 model, with distinct fascias at both the front and back, as wells its own headlight and taillight designs. The two cars were still rebadged vehicles, but it was more subtle than it will be in 2015, when the refreshed Verano arrives. Astra-like elements are expected to dominate, particularly in regards to the headlights and taillights. That said, trademark Buick styling features will remain, like the waterfall grille. Really, then, the 2016 Verano won't be unlike the Regal - a rebadged Vauxhall/Opel Insignia, aside from a few very small styling details.
