22,000 Actual Miles (Documented on title)

This is a nice classic that you can have fun in driving while you do some work on the body due to some hail damage. Most of the damage is on the hood. The car is still considered a # 3 which is a car in running and drive-able condition which is a 20- footer. Now saying all that, the car runs great with it's 430-v8 an 360 hp, the automatic trans shifts nice and smooth. The interior is in good condition for its age. It does have the bucket seats with the floor shiftier which is cool. The headliner is in great shape with no sagging. The headlights do not work up/down but can be manually opened. also have all  5 of the stock buick mag wheels (New Tires). This car does have all the a/c components but needs charged to work. Not many of these buicks around, it is a great car that deserves a full restoration but can be enjoyed just like it is.

38k GM eAssist hybrids recalled for circuit board, fire risk

Mon, 06 May 2013

General Motors has issued a recall covering 38,197 2012 and 2013 model-year Chevy Malibu Eco, Buick LaCrosse and Regal sedans equipped with eAssist, and sold in the United States. The automaker will check the generator control module for proper operation. Only vehicles built before December 2012 are being recalled.
According to the automaker, a malfunctioning generator control module could slowly drain the battery, causing an indicator to light up in the dash. If that indicator is ignored, the driver may experience a stalling engine, and in some cases, "a burning or melting odor, smoke, and, in rare instances, a fire in the trunk."
GM says the issue is not with the eAssist battery pack; the smoke and fire comes from overheating of the control board. One trunk fire has been reported, but no injuries are known. Scroll down below for the official press release from GM.

Next Buick Regal coming in 2017, could be imported from Germany

Sun, 03 Aug 2014

The Buick Regal is based on the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia, a pair of sedans from General Motors' European and British outfits. In fact, over 46,000 Regals from model years 2010 and 2011 were screwed together on the same lines as the Insignia twins, before GM's Oshawa, Ontario factory took over production fully. Considering this closeness, rumors that claim the next-generation Regal - due for 2017 - could move back to Europe aren't terribly surprising. Here's why, according to Automotive News.
Oshawa is home to three other vehicles, aside from the Regal - the Chevrolet Camaro, Impala rental queen and the Cadillac XTS. We already know next-gen Camaro production is headed to Lansing, MI, and that the fleet-only Impala will (finally!) die in 2016. As for the XTS, as AN explains it, sales are so slow that GM will either kill it or just shuffle its production volume elsewhere.
Taken along with the fact that Unifor, the Canadian labor union repping workers at the Oshawa factory, claim GM hasn't made any guarantees about future production at the nearly 60-year-old factory, it seems fairly clear that the Regal's current factory is going to be put out to pasture.

Buick might be getting a logo makeover

Fri, 23 Nov 2012

General Motors has finished off an extensive model overhaul for its Buick division, but along with its updated cars, the brand might also be getting a new logo. According to the Detroit Free Press, GM North America President Mark Reuss indicated that the Buick tri-shield logo could be getting a makeover, but offered no further information.
It is unlikely Buick will completely redesign or replace its current logo, but the article seems to indicate that it might return to color; although all chrome now, the logo used to feature red, white and blue shields. Head on over to the Detroit Free Press article to look at some past Buick logos including one from 1904.
