You are bidding on a 2002 Buick LeSabre Limited vehicle.  I am the second owner of this vehicle and the title is clear.  This car is accident free and both owners are non-smokers.  This vehicle is in running condition.  There are few minor issues to note.  I have installed three of the six new spark plugs and wires.  This car just needs the other 3 spark plugs and spark plug wires installed which does effect the current driving speed.  I am including these parts in this auction brand new as noted in the photos.  The brakes have been recently replaced and are in good condition.  The engine oil monitor needs to be reset (it chimes periodically).  There is a minor dent at the base of the trunk along with minor scratches below the trunk not caused by an auto to auto accident.  The driver side mirror is cracked as noted in the picture.  There is a minor rust spot on the rear passenger lower left door frame as noted in the picture.   There are no rips or tears in the roof or on the seats.  The heat and air conditioner is in excellent condition with a variable digital temperature gauge.  This vehicle is electronically customizable to the owner concerning seat adjustment, radio, heat, and mirror alignment.  The steering wheel can be adjusted for comfort while driving.  This vehicle is also OnStar equipped with electronic heat index in the rear view mirror as noted in the picture.  The tires are new with only 1,100 miles driven on them and contain all the original factory rims.  To my knowledge, there are no open recalls.  The buyer is responsible for transport and pickup of the vehicle from zip code 06052.

First 2013 Buick Encore TV ad features... dinosaurs

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

The whole "SUVs as dinosaurs" trope has become something of a threadbare cliché among auto writers, but that doesn't mean the wider world of consumers has caught on to the Jurassic nature of our line of thinking. That's what General Motors appears to be betting on, at least. Just check out Buick's first television spot for its 2013 Encore, the tiny crossover that is pushing the Tri-Shield into territories unknown while looking to outrun the brand's reputation as a refuge for elderly clientele.
Set to air this weekend on ESPN during the NCAA college basketball tournament, the ad plays up the Encore's maneuverability and surprising interior space by setting the baby Buick amongst a herd of lumbering CG dinosaurs created by Tippett Studio, the folks behind Hollywood blockbusters like Jurassic Park, Ted, and the Twilight series of films.
We can't help but snigger a little - while the Encore is indeed surprisingly roomy, nimble, and composed, our first drive found it to be glacially slow, too... not unlike a certain prehistoric race of animals. Check out the commercial below and judge for yourself.

Next Buick Regal to inherit styling cues from Opel Monza concept

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

Ever look at a concept car from a foreign auto marque like Opel and wonder what relevance it will have to you as an American consumer? Well, we'll tell you: at least as far as the Opel Monza concept goes, it could mean a lot.
Speaking with Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show, Opel chief Karl-Thomas Neumann said, "You will see the Monza when you see the next Insignia." And the Insignia, we needn't point out, is essentially ported over to American showrooms as the Buick Regal.
The relationship between the Regal and Insignia only stands to grow closer as Opel design chief Mark Adams has also been charged with tightening the bonds between the two automakers positioned on opposite shores of the Atlantic. Adams also intends to imbue the next Insignia with more "premium brand values" in order to "add polish to the brand." Which in turn means that the Regal will be designed to look more upscale, too.

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle vs 1987 Buick GNX in Generation Gap showdown

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

Generation Gap generally tries to adhere to a theme for each episode, and for the final video from the Lingenfelter collection, the series might have its best idea yet - limited-production muscle cars from General Motors.
On one side you get a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle COPO, and it's an absolute sleeper. Other than the SS wheels, this classic coupe looks practically bone stock, at least until the engine fires up. Under the hood is a 427-cubic-inch (7.0-liter) V8 making a claimed 425 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This was the sole year for the COPO package on the Chevelle, and Chevy only made about 323 of them.
The Chevelle's challenger is almost as rare and arguably just as cool. The 1987 Buick Grand National GNX looks just as mean today as when new. It eschews a traditional muscular V8 in favor of a 3.8-liter turbo V6 making a claimed 276 hp and 360 lb-ft, although that number is supposedly a bit underrated. Also, just 547 examples of the GNX version were ever built making it quite a collector's item too.
