THE PAINT HAS A DEEP SHINE AND AS YOU CAN SEE IN MANY OF THE PICTURES HAS VISIBLE REFLECTIONS. THE TIRES ARE NEAR NEW ON FACTORY WHEELS AND RIDE FANTASTIC. THE CHROME ON THE CAR IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND SHINES AS NEW. THERE IS NO RUST ON THIS CAR.
THE INTERIOR LOOKS AND SMELLS LIKE A NEW CAR. IF YOU HAVE HAD A BENTLEY YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN BY THE SMELL, NICE LUXURIOUS LEATHER, NOT THE CHEAP STUFF MADE IN MASS PRODUCTION IN YOUR TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CARPET, SEATS, DOOR PANELS, HEADLINER, DASH ETC. ARE ALL RIP FREE. AGAIN, I HAVE TAKEN MANY PICTURES TO TRY AND ANSWER THE "CONDITION" QUESTIONS. THE ONLY UPDATE TO THE INTERIOR IS AN AFTERMARKET CD PLAYER REPLACING THE OUTDATED FACTORY RADIO.
UNDER THE HOOD IS THE MASSIVE POWERPLANT THAT ROLLS ROYCE AND BENTLEY ARE KNOW FOR. NOT THE QUICKEST CAR OFF THE LINE, BUT ONCE YOU ARE CRUISING YOU HAVE WHAT SEEMS LIKE ENDLESS POWER, YOU JUST NEED ENOUGH ROAD! THIS ONE PURS AND IS SMOKE FREE. YOU CAN TELL THAT WITH THE SERVICE RECORDS SHE HAS BEEN MAINTAINED. FLUIDS ARE FRESH AND SERVICE IS UP TO DATE. SHE STARTS THE FIRST TURN OF THE KEY WITHOUT HESITATION AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR HER TO WARM UP TO HIT THE ROAD. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH AS IT DID FROM THE FACTORY.
THIS PARTICULAR BENTLEY IS READY TO BE DRIVEN AND ENJOYED. AS WITH ANY PREOWNED CAR THERE ARE A COUPLE AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT WHICH DO NOT EFFECT THE DRIVABILITY OF THE CAR. THE FIRST ONE IS THE DRIVERS WINDOW IS SLOW AND SOMETIMES GETS STUCK HALF WAY DOWN. THIS WAS NEVER A CONCERN FOR ME AS THE AC WILL FREEZE YOU OUT AND I DO NOT DRIVE WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN IN "HOTLANTA"! THE SECOND ONE IS THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT, THE SHOULDER BELT, DOES NOT RETRACT. WE UNHOOK THIS UPON SITTING IN THE CAR AND HOOK IT BACK UP WHEN READY TO DRIVE, PROCESS TAKES LESS THEN 10 SECONDS. NEVER REALLY BOTHERED ME AS I USUALLY DRIVE BY MYSELF. THESE ARE THE ONLY ISSUES/ANNOYANCES THAT STICK OUT TO ME. AS WITH ANY CAR IT MAY NEED MORE, BUT THIS IS WHAT I HAVE NOTICED.

2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed arrives as the fastest Flying B to date
Tue, 04 Mar 2014We know what you must be thinking: another Bentley Continental. And we can hardly argue with you, because that's exactly what this is. But what you're actually looking at is the fastest production Bentley ever.
It's the new Continental GT Speed, and it's just been unveiled in both coupe and convertible form here in Geneva. Its 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine has been tuned to deliver 626 horsepower to all four wheels. That's just five horses more than the previous Continental Supersports, but with all the other enhancements applied to the Conti in the mid-cycle refresh, it's actually faster.
While the previous Supersports could reach 204 miles per hour, the new GT Speed can hit 206. (The revised drop-top GTC Speed is quoted at 203 mph, one tick faster than the Supersports Convertible). Of course none of that will, practically speaking, mean anything in real-world driving (especially considering that Crewe hasn't released any acceleration figures), but is worth that extra bit of bragging rights. It also sets the stage nicely for the next Supersports model, which in this context ought to be even faster and more powerful.
Is Bentley testing a hardcore Continental GT V8?
Tue, 15 Apr 2014The Bentley Continental GT V8 is a darn good car. The GT V8 S, even more so. It's only logical, then that an even hotter Conti GT would be commensurately better. At least, we're hoping that's what the minds at Bentley's Crewe, UK headquarters were thinking when they dispatched this bewinged GT V8 to the Nürburgring.
This Conti GT stands out not only because of its wing, but because of its improved aerodynamics as a whole. A new front fascia, complete with a body-color lip spoiler is the big visual takeaway of this car's sportier intensions, while our spies claim this white whale rides on a lowered, firmer suspension.
The real question about this car has to do with its powerplant, though. What's under hood? The GT V8 S returns an impressive 521 horsepower while the base Conti W12 churns out 567 ponies, meaning there isn't a lot of wiggle room between what is currently the priciest V8 model and the cheapest twelve-cylinder car. The 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8, though, is certainly capable of handling more than 521 hp, as Audi uses a 560-hp variant in the RS7. Our spies, meanwhile, suggest that this may merely be an even lighter version of the GT V8 S - maybe like an RS model - that is lighter and stiffer, but no more powerful.
Bentley confirms SUV for 2016
Tue, 23 Jul 2013It looks like the addition of a Royal Baby isn't the only big news coming out of the UK this week. Bentley has ended all of the will they/won't they speculation by confirming today that it will produce an SUV. Earmarked to go on sale in 2016, the as-yet unnamed Bentley SUV will help create an extra 1,000 jobs in the UK.
While no concrete details have been released, Bentley says that it will be the "most luxurious and most powerful SUV" on the market. Past rumors have indicated that the SUV could look completely different from the 2012 EXP 9 F Concept shown above, be renamed the Falcon and offer options like a plug-in hybrid version and three-row seating. To prepare for a fourth model in its lineup, Bentley will be investing 800 million British pounds (around $1.2 billion USD) into its Crewe headquarters and production lines over the next three years.
