I BOUGHT THIS CAR OFF OF EBAY EIGHT YEARS AGO AS THE SECOND OWNER.  THE ORIGINAL OWNER WAS IN OHIO.  THIS HAS BEEN MY WIFE'S CAR FOR MOST OF THE TIME WE HAVE OWNED IT.  IF ANY SMALL THING NEEDS TO BE FIXED SHE TAKES IT TO THE BMW SHOP IN DAYTONA.  THE MECHANIC THERE IS VERY GOOD AND TAKES CARE OF ANYTHING THAT IS WRONG AND ANYTHING HE THINKS MAY GO WRONG.  EVERYTHING IS RUNNING AS IT SHOULD.  SOME LED'S IN THE RADIO ARE OUT BUT DOES NOT AFFECT OPERATION.  I DID ADD THE SIX DISK CD PLAYER.  THE TIRES ARE MICHELIN WITH PLENTY OF TREAD.  SERVICE RECORDS WILL BE INCLUDED.

THE EXTERIOR COLOR IS A LIGHT GREEN AND THE PAINT LOOKS LIKE NEW.  THE INTERIOR IS THE TAN WITH WOOD ACCENTS.  THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND THERE IS NO RUST.  THE ONLY IMPERFECTION I KNOW OF IS A SCRAPE  ON THE FRONT BUMPER FROM THE SIDE OF THE GARAGE DOOR.  SEE THE PHOTOS.  WE TOOK THIS CAR TO THE USVI WHEN WE MOVED THERE BECAUSE IT HAS PROVEN TO BE SUCH A GOOD CAR.  WE COULD NOT GIVE IT UP SO BROUGHT IT BACK WITH US TO FLORIDA.  IT HAS SPENT MOST OF ITS TIME IN A GARAGE.  THERE ARE ONLY THE TWO OF US SO THE INTERIOR HAS REMAINED CLEAN AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF.  A VERY NICE AND NEW CAR COVER WILL BE INCLUDED.

WE WOULD NOT BE SELLING THIS CAR BUT ARE MOVING OUT OF THE US AGAIN AND CANNOT POSSIBLY TAKE IT WITH US THIS TIME.

2015 BMW M4 gets initiated into the club

Fri, 22 Aug 2014

It's easy for enthusiasts and traditionalists to give BMW a hard time these days, what with its plans to add more front-wheel drive models and seeming move away from more emotionally connected cars. However, the push for perfection that underscored its old Ultimate Driving Machine motto is still in there, especially in its M models. In fact, the first M4 recently made it to US shores, and the company thought the only appropriate way to celebrate was to introduce its new coupe to some of its high-performance forefathers.
The M4's initiation into the M car brotherhood involved bringing together no fewer than 52 classic and newer models - including four racecars and many privately owned vehicles - to an empty parking lot and letting the coupe drift and slalom around them to say hello. According to BMW, there was a combined 11,566 horsepower on hand. It takes a pretty trusting owner to stand back and watch as a brand-new vehicle slides its tail out with the rear wheels smoking within feet of their pride and joy. Stay tuned until the end where the owners and their cars get a shout out in the credits. Scroll down to read BMW's press release about it.

Cafe racer motorbikes storm Japan

Fri, 22 Nov 2013

Japan may be best known, at least among motorcycle enthusiasts, for its sport bikes. But as we found at the Tokyo Motor Show this year, Japanese motorcycle manufacturers are capable of producing all kinds of motorbikes. And to our delight, that includes cafe racers.
Along with the myriad electric bikes, dirt bikes, crotch rockets and scooters, the halls of Tokyo's Big Site convention center this year were full of the retro-infused rides we love. Chief among them was the Bolt (shown above) which Yamaha exhibited alongside their various electric two-wheelers, sporting a delicious metallic blue paintjob, inverted handlebars and hanging mirrors, machined metal bits, blacked-out trim and saddle brown leatherwork.
Honda was also on hand with a new EX version of its '70s-style CB1100 retro roadster in sinister and low-key matte black. And this was our first chance to check out BMW Motorrad's new birthday present to its 90-year-old self, the R NineT, a model recently unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. But one of the most amusing retro rides we came across was the Honda Monkey Limited, a mini bike that makes the new 125cc Grom (which was displayed alongside it) look positively gigantic.

BMW-Toyota partnership to spawn hybrid supercar

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

BMW and Toyota inked a partnership some time ago to develop green technology, and while we were excited by the idea of a reborn Supra with BMW's carbon fiber reinforced plastic slashing the curb weight or an ultra-efficient, hybridized 1 Series, the joint efforts have been rather limited. That's set to change, though, according to a report from Australia.
Motoring reports that the partners have come to terms on a sports car. And not just any sports car, but a lightweight, hybridized model, with a six-figure price tag. Lending a bit of street cred to that idea is the site's claim that Toyota is currently carrying out durability testing on the BMW i8. According to the site, the new model will slot into the spot left by the Lexus LFA, although based on the language used, it's unclear if this is the Tokyo-bound vehicle we mentioned several months ago.
Details on this potential car are limited, although Motoring claims it will use a Toyota hybrid system mated up to a BMW gas engine - likely the 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 found in the M5 and M6. That sounds pretty amazing to us, but we'd still advise taking this with a grain of salt. What would you like to see out of a joint-venture supercar from Toyota and BMW? Let us know in Comments, and have your say on the prospects of a hybridized, twin-turbocharged V8.
