SO LETS START WITH THE BODY OF THE M3, IT IS IN VERY GREAT CONDITION WITH ONE DING ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE REAR QUARTER PANEL. I BELIEVE THE DING IS REPAIRABLE BY A PAINT-LESS DENT REMOVER COMPANY. THERE ARE SOME MARKS ON THE LOWER EDGE OF THE FRONT BUMPER FROM TAPPING A PARKING CURB. ALL THESE PROBLEMS ARE PICTURED. THE CAR HAS NOT HAD ANY PAINT WORK OR BODY WORK. THE TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AS WELL, ALSO PICTURED WITH A QUARTER. THE SEATS ARE IN AWESOME SHAPE BUT THE DRIVERS SEAT DOES HAVE A SMALL SCRAPE FROM THE SEAT BELT OR FROM PANTS SLIDING IN AND OUT ALSO PICTURED.
THIS M3 IS EQUIPPED WITH THE COMPETITION, TECHNOLOGY AND PREMIUM PACKAGES. IT ALSO HAS A SET OF 20 INCH STAGGERED WHEELS THAT MAKE THIS THING LOOK VERY AGGRESSIVE. DO NOT HAVE THE FACTORY 19 INCH WHEELS ANYMORE. OTHER WISE THE CAR IS IN FACTORY FORM.

Even 'Ring taxi drivers need to respect the Green Hell

Wed, 06 Aug 2014

The Nürburgring Nordschleife has the reputation as one of the most difficult tracks in the world to master - deservedly so. With 14 miles of roadway and about 160 corners over a massive amount of elevation change, the amount of grip can change from turn to turn. As the driver of the famous BMW Ring Taxi learned this weekend after a shunt into the barricades, the 'Ring can bite unsuspecting pros just as easily as amateurs.
The video of the incident below shows the M5 oversteering right into the wall as a phalanx of Porsche models arrive behind it. According to Bridge to Gantry, a website that specializes in news about the 'Ring, the taxi's passengers were picked up by another Ring Taxi and driven off with a fantastic story to tell their friends back home. "The accident happened at low speed, there were two passengers in the car, but no one had at any injuries," said BMW spokesperson Cypselus von Frankenberg to Autoblog via email.
The crash also closed track for over an hour to clean up and to haul the stricken BMW away. When a driver making a living from driving lap after lap at the Nordschleife has a crash even as seemingly minor as this one, it just goes to show why the course has the nickname 'The Green Hell.'

BMW teases 2 Series Coupe ahead of October 25 debut

Sat, 19 Oct 2013

Although it was finally just confirmed that the last of the BMW 1 Series coupes and convertibles went out of production months ago, we won't have to wait very long to see this model's replacement, the all-new 2 Series. BMW released a teaser video for its new coupe today and also announced that the 2 Series will officially debut on October 25.
We may still have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show to see it up close and in person, even though both the Los Angeles Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show are nearly upon us. Either way, it's not clear when the 2 Series will roll into dealerships. Considering we've already seen the coupe sitting out mostly undisguised for a photo shoot, there really isn't much to see in terms of styling of the car in this sun-drenched, dirt-slinging teaser. BMW does say that this is the first trailer ahead of the 2 Series' unveiling, so there are likely to be more to follow the video seen below.

2015 BMW M3 Sedan

Tue, 20 May 2014

BMW's all-new M3 Sedan is dynamically nearly identical to its two-door M4 Coupe sibling: a stopwatch reveals that both are sub-four-second cars to 60 miles per hour, a racetrack proves that the mechanical twins are equally as adept on a road course and a full afternoon of driving on public roads demonstrates that each possesses talented everyday adaptability.
Yet after driving both BMW models back-to-back over two full days in Portugal, it's clear there are a few noticeable differences, both objective and subjective, that don't require instrument testing to reveal. All it takes is a few hours behind the wheel of both cars to conclude that one is slightly more agile, and the other a bit more twitchy. One has better outward visibility, while its counterpart is unquestionably more convenient.
It is the little things - subtleties attained through seat-of-the-pants observations - that eventually allow me to choose a favorite.
