Thank you for viewing my auction for this immaculate 2009 BMW M3 coupe. It is finished in the highly desirable Alpine White over Black Novillo Leather interior. The car is also equipped with the very fast shifting M DCT transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and RARE moonroof option. This car has been thoroughly maintained during my ownership and needs nothing. The car has never been tracked or abused. In fact, since my ownership (second owner), I have never even tried the Launch Control function. When I purchased the car from Porsche of Orlando, it was also evident that the previous owner took extra special care of this car. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
Now, for the good stuff. This car has thousands invested in tasteful upgrades designed to enhance, not overwhelm, the already razor sharp performance characteristics of an M car. Here are the upgrades: Performance Ess ECU Flash (plus 15 hp) (completely reversible if desired, flash cable included!) Active Autowerke Power Pulley ( plus 10 hp) Active Autowerke High Flow Green Filter Rpi Intake Scoops finished in Stealth Black (coupled with filter, plus 5 hp) Continental Extreme Contact DW tires with 60 percent tread left Brakes New BMW OEM Rotors Stoptech Stainless Steel Brake Lines F & R Stoptech Street Performance Brake Pads F & R Exterior Smoked Front Reflectors BMW OEM Silver Turn Signal Bulbs (gives the car a nice Euro look with lights off, still illuminate yellow when signals are on to comply with US law) OEM Edition Gloss Black Kidney Grills Window Tint GP Thunder 7500k White Angel Eye Bulbs (nice white look without complication of LED kits) Interior BMW OEM M Power E Brake Handle Custom Black Alcantara E Brake Boot with M Tricolor Stitching M Aluminum Sport Pedals Exhaust was left bone stock as this car was a daily driver. But with the additions, the car still puts out about 440 HP without the annoyance of exhaust drone. It brakes harder, accelerates quicker, and handles even sharper than an already wonderful stock M3. Please note that the car COMES WITH ALL STOCK PARTS should the next owner desire to return the car to original form. After you see and drive it, you won't want to, but it's nice to know the option is there. Car also comes with ESS flash cable if you want to re flash the car back to stock. All you need is a laptop, battery charger and about 45 minutes. The car has a clean Carfax and has never been in an accident. Includes maintenance records. The only imperfections are some stone chips in the front bumper and very minor curb rash on two wheels, which could easily be repaired and is not noticeable unless you look for it. Also, please keep in mind that I still drive the car on rare occasion, and that it will likely have slightly more than 54,000 miles on it at time of purchase. BMW X1 EV for Zinoro spotted
Tue, 04 Jun 2013BMW has teamed up with Chinese automaker Brilliance Automotive to create a joint venture in China, called Zinoro, and it appears that an all-electric version of the X1 crossover is to be the brand's first model. Spotted testing in Munich, these spy shots show a more camouflaged version of the X1 EV that we saw back in April.
Comparing these latest spy shots, we can see that the Zinoro model will wear a completely unique front fascia that ditches BMW's trademark grille, but few other changes seem to be taking place. Previous reports indicate that this Zinoro EV could go on sale in China early next year.
NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors

Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.
BMW says yes to 1 Series M successor, no to M6 Gran Coupe with xDrive

The BMW 1 Series M Coupe was, without a doubt, one of our favorite cars from the past few years, and according to a BMW Blog interview, Dr. Friedrich Nitschke, head of the company's M division, has confirmed that a successor is in the works.
"We haven't made a decision yet, but the 1M coupe was so successful, that in my opinion, I am absolutely sure we will build a successor," Nitschke told BMW Blog. Currently, BMW only offers the M135i version of the new 1 Series hatch in Europe, which Nitschke says is "not a pure M car."
Moving elsewhere in the M range, BMW Blog asked about the M6 Gran Coupe that recently debuted at this year's Detroit Auto Show. The obvious competitors for this car will be higher-power versions of the Porsche Panamera and Audi RS7, but while both of those offer all-wheel drive, the M6 only sends power to its rear wheels.
