Amazing condition for this E46 M3. Enthusiast owned, cared for and driven only in the warm seasons. This car is salt/rust free. Originally came from California/Las Vegas. Custom ordered by the founder of Jack n the Box with every option available including back up sensors. Black interior, REAL 6 speed manual. Brand new tires, recharged A/C and all maintenance as required. Only used Lubro Moly oil. Exterior is basically flawless and original paint. No accidents. Smooth paint, clay bared, well detailed. Gruppe M intake, carbon fiber lip, diffuser and trunk. COME WITH OEM trunk. Angel eye headlights, privacy tint, powder coated OEM wheels, new floor mats and custom side skirts.

This car turns heads. It's very clean and not over done. Amazingly reliable for a BMW and a total blast to drive. I adore this car. Selling due to new baby. I've put her in the back seat just fine for the first few months, now she is getting heavier and it's not so easy for transporting. This car has been sitting in the garage most of the year. Always been a garaged car. No sun fade, oxidized paint or yellowing.

Because this is all online here are the very picky items I would point out to a buyer:

- Driver sun visor is cracked
- Driver window switch is loose (works 100%)
- Tire sensor is on from using wider tires than OEM - research this. It is not a sensor that needs to be replaced!
- One small dent on driver door - cannot see except in the right light/angle.

Literally basically a flawless ride! I took great pride in this car and babied it. It is still my baby. Hoping this ends up in the ends of a true enthusiast.

Thank you for looking.

2014 BMW 2 Series earns IIHS Top Safety Pick+ [w/video]

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has just certified its latest Top Safety Pick+, honoring the all-new BMW 2 Series with the coveted rating.
IIHS cited the 2 Series' crash test ratings, which were rated as "Good" in the small overlap, moderate overlap, side and rollover. In the tricky small overlap test, the crash test dummy was at a "low risk of any significant injury."
The Institute was also complimentary of the 2 Series' head restraint system and its collision prevention system, including forward collision warning and City Braking.

Old vs. new debate gets new life with $25,000 Fiesta ST vs. E46 M3 showdown

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

You know who you are. There's probably a few of you reading; the ones that say, "Why would I spend $27,000 on a new Mazda MX-5 when I could get a used Chevrolet Corvette with more power." Yes, we're talking to you, used car proponents. While it is a fair argument, it's not like used cars don't come with drawbacks of their own, though.
In an attempt to put this new-versus-used argument to bed once and for all, Matt Farah of the The Smoking Tire has picked up a pair of $25,000 cars - a used, but lightly modified, 2003 BMW M3 and a 2013 Ford Fiesta ST. Naturally, there's a comparison.
Farah, as he's wont to do, does get into the nitty gritty of what each car is like to drive, and discusses the merits of used and new-car shopping. But as he rightly points out while testing the M3, "So, it is a good car. But like any used car, it really does depend on the individual car."

2016 BMW X5 M is big and bold, not beautiful

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

Awesome as it is, the BMW X5 M has never really been an attractive machine. Big and bulgy are the themes here, and that's only more pronounced with the X5's most recent refresh. But no matter, the X5 M has never been about looks - for this machine, it's all about performance, and BMW's hi-po crossover absolutely delivers in this regard.
Under the hood is the familiar 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8, though power has been boosted to 567 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque - healthy increases of 12 and 53, respectively, compared to the outgoing model. Hitting 60 miles per hour is said to take just four seconds, which is damn impressive considering this thing weighs well over 5,000 pounds.
But the X5 M has always been shockingly good to drive, with limits you'll never reach except in the most hardcore track scenarios (which we'd really like to see, by the way). It's not the prettiest thing ever, but that's okay. It's not exactly cheap, though, with prices starting at $99,650. Woof.
