With only 22K miles on it, it looks and drives like new. It has always been kept in a clean, dry, heated garage, and serviced regularly with Castrol 10W60 full synthetic oil, as recommended by BMW. The 'M' Roadster is a rare model combining the sporty 2 seat roadster, 'wind in the hair' looks of the Z4, with the 3.2 Liter, 330 HP 'M' Engine, as used in the M3. This car is fully loaded, and everything works. It has a built in GPS (navigation) system, and a computer that controls things that I haven't even tried to use yet. I bought the car from a dealer in Virginia, but the CarFax report indicated the car's previous owner was from Virginia also. I am not a smoker and, as near as I can tell, the car has never been smoked in. I would like to have a $5,000 deposit by cash or Cashier's check within a week of the auction ending. Shipping can be arranged within 3 weeks of the sale, with final payment due when the car is shipped. Payment can be in cash, or a Cashier's check.

2015 BMW i8: Autoblog Technology of the Year finalist

Traditionally, nominations for the Autoblog Technology of the Year award are earned for specific developments - a new-think powertrain, a uniquely developed material, a groundbreaking smartphone app, or what have you. In the case of BMW's marvelous i8, it so bristles with novel applied sciences and fresh features that we broke with tradition and nominated the entire car.
We just couldn't help ourselves. Oh, we could've focused on the i8's carbon-fiber monocoque, or its well-resolved plug-in-hybrid powertrain that incorporates a tiny 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and an electric motor, or its seamless through-the-road all-wheel drive. This is a car that will even have frickin' laser beams for headlights - at least it will for our friends in Europe (and it will in the US, should our legislators ever catch up).

BMW won't build M4 Gran Coupe

Over the last few years, it feels like BMW has looked at its lineup and decided to offer a vehicle in every possible segment that it can find, no matter how small. The company is finally showing some restraint, though, at least when it comes to the high performance M division. For example, don't expect to see an M4 Gran Coupe at your local BMW dealer in the future.
M GmbH sales chief Jörg Bartels told Cars Guide in Australia, "It was definitely considered, but there is no plan to build an M4 Gran Coupe." The sport sedan just wouldn't make financial sense, he said. BMW already builds the M3 and M4 at separate factories, adding a third for such a niche model would be too much. Plus, the M3 already fills out the segment.
If you wanted an M model with a bit more storage space in the back, Bartels dashed those dreams, as well. He said that there isn't an M3 Gran Turismo hatchback in the pipeline, either.

BMW has announced the 2015 M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, high-performance versions of the new 3 Series and 4 Series that launched this year. The new Ms have stirred controversy in a variety of ways, but one must remember that the M cars traditionally don't follow a specific mold.
