You are bidding on 2010 BMW 750LI with X-Drive-55000 miles on in. The car is a Salvage,  was flooded, I bought the car with no keys.  I bought the key, the car didn't start so I'm not interested.  A BMW Tech told me it will take about 12K to fix.   The car is being sold as is and with no warranty whatsoever.     The plastic you see was simply to cover the widows when it rained before I got the key.  It looks great and its the X-Drive. I live in Palmdale and the vehicle is at a dealer to be towed away.   it took almost 3 months to get the original key.  I'm willing to discuss any reasonable offer.   Please make sure you understand that this car must be towed away, nothing was touched all I did was charge the battery and tried to start it, and it didn't start.

A BMW tech brought a computer said the plugs may be rusted and computers are damaged.  Again no warranty whatsoever, no refunds and a $1,000.00 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of end of auction.

DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK AND DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY UNLESS YOU BRING ME THE CASH PERSONALLY. I WILL NOT GIVE YOU MY ACCOUNT NUMBER- I'M RE-LISTING IT BECAUSE SOME CLOWN FROM GHANA TRIED TO PULL A SCAM ON ME.    I'm not interested in any trades sorry.

PLEASE HAVE THE MONEY-I'M RELISTING IT DUE TO NON PAYING EBAYER ALSO MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND YOU ARE BUYING A FLOODED CAR THAT DOESNT START AND IT HAS A SALVAGE TITLE.  Edwin 661-860-5567

Ruby celebrates 90 years of BMW Motorrad with special helmet collection

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

BMW isn't the only one celebrating its own 90th anniversary building motorbikes. So is Atelier Ruby, that French manufacturer of jewel-like motorcycle helmets.
Ruby has just released a capsule collection of helmets marking BMW Motorrad's 90th anniversary, and we want them almost as much as a Bimmer bike itself. The Munich 90 collection includes three new designs available in three helmet styles, including the signature blue and red stripes on a white background worn by BMWs of two wheels or four on the racing circuit.
Of course, these helmets, being made by Ruby as they are, won't come cheap, with jaw-dropping prices ranging from $980 to $1,450. Of course there are more cost-effective ways to protect your noggin, but few more stylish.

2014 BMW 535d xDrive

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

I absolutely love to travel, but man, do I hate flying. Not the act of flying itself, but air travel in general - slogging through the airport, dealing with security, fighting with delays, only to finally be crammed like cattle into a too-small airplane seat where you're offered $8 sandwiches that are half-frozen. (Okay, it's not always that bad, but still.)
So when I was tasked with attending the launch for the 2015 Subaru WRX STI in Carmel, CA, I had a choice to make. I could fly into San Francisco and find my own way down to Carmel, or I could grab a turbo-prop out of SFO and fly directly into Monterey. And since you're reading about all of this in a car review, it's pretty obvious which option I chose.
The current BMW 5 Series isn't a new car, despite receiving a couple of updates for the 2014 model year. But what is new is the 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline six-cylinder engine found underhood, borrowed from the larger X5 xDrive35d and also seen in the upcoming 740Ld xDrive. It's a honey of an engine, and here in the 5 Series, it makes for a truly first-class experience.

Next-generation BMW 5 Series spied in Touring trim

Wed, 10 Jul 2013

It almost seems as if BMW just started selling the current-generation 5 Series, yet one of our spy photographers has already spotted a next-generation prototype in Touring form. Little is known about the luxury wagon in this early stage of testing, but it is expected to weigh much less than the current car, which, in 528i Touring guise with an automatic transmission, tips the scale at over 3,800 pounds. It is also expected to have the latest in driver-assistance technology. Despite the weight savings, and judging from the photos, it looks to have proportions similar to the current car, but don't expect the makeshift headlight and taillight clusters to make it onto the production model.
The crucial question for potential Touring customers in the United States is whether BMW will do the unexpected and import it here. The company's track record indicates that it will be sold in Rest of World markets only, but we're hoping that the next 5 Series will end the Touring's U.S. hiatus (and the 5 Series Gran Turismo's reign), which began in 2003 at the end of the E39 generation.
