The great thing about this BMW like many others is that you can take the electronic remote key to the BMW dealer and get a accurate service and mechanical history. I have taken 24 high def pictures to show the good and the bad. I live in Fort Pierce, Florida which is between Daytona and Palm Beach. This 2008 BMW 650i Coupe has the best eye catching color combination available in a coupe. The exterior is bright silver metallic while the interior is black leather. I have a new car on order which is expected to arrive in 12 weeks(I have another vehicle to drive when this one sells, so it is immediately available at auctions end). I am the second owner. The original owner was from the northeast with a seasonal home in Jupiter, Florida. I bought the 650i with just under 20K miles on it. It now has 46,820 miles at time of this listing. Warranty expired in Dec., 2012. Always serviced at our local BMW Dealership which is Coggin BMW of Fort Pierce, Florida. It has always run perfectly. It has cold A/C and a Bose Sound System that sounds incredible. The interior is very clean with very little wear and has never been smoked in.The reason for low starting auction price refects the clearcoat scratches on roof, trunk and side door(see pics). My detailer says he can not buff them out with his buffer. There are the normal small chips on paint from normal use and some scratches on rims. Please no offers for less or more than current auction price. Comes with original owners manuals and one electronic remote key. This year the Detroit Auto Show didn't just celebrate the automobile, it celebrated how we find out about the automobile, too. Partnering The One Club, this year introduced the 2014 One Show Automobile Advertising of the Year Award to Cobo Hall, celebrating winners in five different categories of advertising: broadcast television, online, interactive, experiential, and print/outdoor. Winners in those categories were judged by 50 creative directors and journalists, while a Public Choice category was chosen from among nearly 20,000 online votes.

Honda walked off with three of the six awards, its Hands spot taking Broadcast honors, its Sound of Honda getting the Online category and Illusions winning Public Choice. Hyundai made the grade in Interactive with Driveway Decision Maker, Fiat captured Print/Outdoor with its "Letters" ad, and Toyota's Tundra Endeavor Campaign spot and BMW's A Window into the Near Future were co-winners for Experiential.

It was just nine months ago that Strategic Vision announced its 2011 Total Value Awards, but you don't have to wait until next year for the 2012 awards. The Volkswagen Group keeps its lead as the number one brand, with seven products taking top category spots: Golf, Jetta Wagon, CC, Eos and Audi A3 Wagon, Q5 and Q7. Strategic Vision says "true innovation" - "rich and impactful, intuitive, motivational, in-depth and is able to trigger description by the user in great specificity" - is the open secret of the brands with the strongest showings. Results are culled from 77,153 owners covering more than 350 new cars bought between September of 2011 and 2012 ranked in the Total Value Index (TVI).

Other notable winners are Hyundai-Kia following VW in the brand category and having the Hyundai Elantra and Kia Sorento among category winners, the BMW Z4 taking the premium roadster category and the highest overall score of any vehicle, the Chevrolet Volt continuing to gather silverware in the Special Category, nabbing the second-highest score of all and representative of "nearly perfect innovation," and Chrysler and Dodge being most improved.

Like few other cars we can remember, people want to talk about the 2015 BMW i8. Drive one, and you'll soon find out what we mean. They stop you at gas stations. They accost you in Walgreen's parking lots. They stream out of neighborhood bars, beers in hand.
At least, that was our experience this week during Autoblog's Technology of the Year testing. We had the pleasure of driving the plug-in hybrid BMW sports car up to and around Petoskey, MI, a resort town where seeing such exotics is rare enough, let alone in the off season. It made for some interesting conversations - so we began writing down some of the comments the butterfly-doored coupe inspired. Here's a sampling:
"Wanna race for pinks? I'll go easy on you." - Acne-covered teenage pizza delivery driver in a sad-looking Ford Taurus parked at a Valero gas station near Grayling (which incidentally didn't actually have gas).
