2006 Bmw 650 I Convertible 6 Speed Manual Navigation - Barbera Red Metallic on 2040-cars
Livingston, Tennessee, United States
I purchased this BMW 650i from original owner. Odometer was 16,758 when I bought it, actual mileage - I have put less than 5,000 miles on it. Wonderful car - runs and drives as new. Nothing wrong with car. I just don't drive it much, just don't have time to enjoy. Purchased motorcycle and drive it when have free time. The 6 speed manual is great, I looked for 6 months before finding this car with 6 speed. Easy, smooth and very sporty. But also extreme luxury too. I keep finding out extras as I drive it. The headlights turn as the steering wheel turns. The cruise control level, if you tap it gentle it goes up one mile per hour it you push a lttle more it goes up 5 miles an hour. Little things like that make this a very special ride. Don't let the low buy it now price make you think it not worth a lot more - it is. I bought it for a good price and willing to let it go at a good price as well. Bought 16 months ago and only put 4,500 miles on it - someone elsed needs to enjoy rather than setting in building. Have clear title in hand. My cell # is 931 260-5694 call with questions. The car is as new never wrecked - no paint work - had oil and filter changed ready to go. Down payment $ 500.00 within 24 hours, full payment within 7 days of sale. A few small stone chips and small impression on back bumper, that's it, rest perfect.

The importance of Angel Eyes, Ventiports and four round taillights
Sun, 01 Sep 2013Just the other day, we told you about how Lincoln isn't really a luxury brand, according to Ford's head design man, J Mays. His argument was that Lincoln lacked the unique DNA to differentiate it from the rest of the market, although the arrival of the MKZ is beginning to change that. Now, we have this video from Autoline Detroit, where Jim Hall, an analyst for 2953 Analytics who was quoted in yesterday's Lincoln story, explains the influence of certain styling cues and how they impact the brands.
Using BMW (Angel Eyes) and Buick (Ventiports) as examples for small, simple touches that serve to distinguish the brand's vehicles on the road, Hall then points out how changing trademark styling features, as Chevrolet has done on the new Corvette Stingray, can hurt the vehicle's public perception. Take a look at the full video below for an interesting dive into what these styling features mean to their individual brands.
2015 BMW i8 configurator is ready to show the future
Mon, 22 Sep 2014Good news if you're one of the lucky few that can afford the new BMW i8. The high-performance hybrid's configurator has gone live on BMW USA's consumer website, meaning you can head in and customize till you drop.
If you've ever played with a BMW configurator, you'll instantly feel at home with the i8's. You have the choice of four trim packages (your author refuses to use BMW's pretentious "World" trim names), followed by wheel and exterior paint options. The interior choices are fixed to the trim level, so aside from trim, color and the choice of two wheel options, there isn't a lot to pick out on the i8.
Head on over and take a look.
Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
