European front headlight kit,

Zender side skirts & matching Zender rear skirt

Just did major service;

including air filter, cap and rotor, spark plugs,

valve adjustment and valve cover gasket, fuel filter and oil change

BMW style 5 wheels with very decent tires

Vehicle odometer reads 156k although true mileage is unknown. Odometer doesnt work although rest of cluster does. Recent (100 miles ago) major service including air filter, cap and rotor, spark plugs, valve adjustment and valve cover gasket, fuel filter and oil change. I also replaced the rear brake pads and rotors. The sunroof was starting to leak water so I removed the panel and had the seal replaced with an OEM BMW seal. The glove box also was not catching, that was repaired. The only other issue the car had which was repaired was a rough idling problem which was fixed. The car has a European front headlight kit and Zender side skirts and rear skirt. It also has BMW style 5 wheels with very decent tires. The interior is in good shape for its age but does show signs of wear and should be redyed, the drivers seat has a worn thigh bolster. The car is a great driver but needs some more work to make perfect. The vehicle does need a center resonator and rear muffler, so it is louder than normal, there is a crack in the windshield and rear bumper. I invite anyone to come look at the vehicle, it's a rare car that you don't see in such shape anymore.

Hamann BMW M6 Mirror can now cash the checks its body writes

Wed, 05 Mar 2014

Anyone remember the Hamann Mirror? Need a refresher? The Mirror is German tuning company Hamann's idea of a BMW M6. It was shown at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show as an M6 Gran Coupe, sporting a ridiculous paint job and some meaty, multi-spoke 21-inch wheels.
Consider this car the Mirror Mark 2. Based on the M6 Coupe, Hamann has applied a similar visual theme, using the same 21-inch wheels from 2013. Whereas the Gran Coupe rode around with a stock powertrain, though, there's been no such restraint with the two-door Mirror. A fine 620 horsepower is available from the 4.4-liter, biturbocharged V8, an increase of 60 horsepower. Torque is up as well, from 501 pound-feet to a whopping 560, meaning this M6 has speed to match its looks. Hamann claims the Mirror's newfound grunt allows it to hit 62 miles per hour faster than the standard M6 (we'd certainly hope so), although it won't mention a specific number.
The suspension, meanwhile, has been dropped 1.37 inches, or about a third of an inch lower than the Frankfurt Mirror. That drop is complemented by the Mirror's bodywork, including the exposed, carbon fiber hood and the flared fenders, which can now accommodate the enormous 305/25 rear rubber. Hamann has also paid some attention to the front and rear aerodynamics.

BMW offers xDrive on 2015 2 Series

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

BMW has released its mile-long list of model changes for 2015. It's mostly comprised of tiny tweaks to options packages, pricing or trim colors, but there are a few interesting new features in there too. One thing all buyers will notice is that as of July 1, the company's destination charge increases by $25, to $950 for all of its models.
The 2 Series gets two really useful upgrades for 2015. We already knew that BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system would be offered on the M235i this summer. However, it won't be the only 2 capable of spinning all four wheels. The 228i model will also be available with the system for $34,850 (after destination), $1,800 more than the standard model.
The other big addition brings a sportier ride to the 228i (with or without xDrive) for those who don't want to spring for the M235i. BMW is adding a Track Handling Package (pictured above) that lowers the suspension 10mm and includes the Adaptive M Suspension, Variable Sport Steering, M Sport Brakes and 18-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. It's available on manual or automatic models at $1,600 for cars ordered with the M Sport or Sport Line trims or $2,200 without it.
