For sale is a great 2001 BMW 330xi with All Wheel Drive. Power everything, Moonroof, Alpine Stereo with Bluetooth and black leather interior. Tires are only about 5 months old.
This car has passed Maryland State inspection and is ready for you to register it today!
This is a great BMW in excellent condition and fun to drive (it's fast and handles well, plus AWD).
This has been a fun car to drive and now that I have it all fixed up like I want it, I need to sell it to help fund buying a house. The engine runs well and fast, you will enjoy it. Tires are only a few months old, too! Emissions inspection was just done a few months ago, so that's good for a couple years.
If you are looking for a well built (German), stylish, fun (fast and handles well) and safe (AWD, airbags) car, this is for you.
Kelly Blue Book lists this model with included options and mileage at $8,040!
Please contact me to set up a meeting so that you can test drive and evaluate the vehicle in person. I can meet with a mechanic if you request an inspection (I think that's something offered through ebay).

BMW's 330xi is like having your Bavarian cake and eating it, too-regardless of road conditions. It also embodies two important upgrades to the 3 Series lineup: a new 3.0L DOHC all-alloy straight six-cylinder engine (still turbine-smooth, newfound mid-range torque), and the availability of all-wheel drive. While the previous 2.8L engine was rated at 193 hp, this year's 3.0L is a step up, producing 225 hp. Power is divided 38/62 front/rear on AWD models. BMW chose this split to minimize the influence of drive forces on the steering and in the interest of a neutral handling attitude. Traction is maintained by employing the ABS to distribute power to the wheel(s) with the best grip. Outstanding ergonomics, highly legible instruments, and quality materials are typical BMW. Choose between painted, faux-alloy, or real wood interior trim. The 32 more horses and 8 lb-ft of torque are easily felt and much appreciated. In real life, it flat works. Handling is nicely balanced, with the vehicle maintaining its poise even when pitched about in obvious disregard to the laws of physics. Under more normal driving conditions, the presence of the all-wheel-drive system is evidenced only by slightly increased steering effort, over that of rear-drive models. Choosing AWD increases the 3's ride height by a barely noticeable 0.67 in. and adds just 198 lb. Cost of the AWD technology is $1750, is worth every dime, and adds another level of confidence to an automobile already oozing ability. The "x" AWD option is available on the 330i sedan, the 325i sedan, and the 325i sportwagon; transmission choices remain a five-speed manual and the five-speed Steptronic automatic. The rest of the package is on par with the driveline. First-rate fit and finish plus the use of high-quality materials are expected in this price category-BMW delivers them all in sterling fashion. If you live in a locale that's blessed with less than ideal year-round weather, can only afford one set of wheels, and don't fancy an SUV, you'd be selling yourself short by not looking hard at the BMW 330xi.

Mercedes leads in US luxury car thefts
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Mercedes-Benz makes some fine automobiles. The Silver Arrow'd cars are so good, apparently, that thieves can't help but try to steal them. The German brand is at the top of the charts for luxury car thefts in the US, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, with New York City leading the way. (And those New Yorkers complain about Detroit being bad!)
The C-Class was the most stolen model, with 485 ganked between 2009 and 2012 in NYC alone, while the E-Class and S-Class (which also boasted the worst recovery rate, at 59 percent) both finished in the top ten. Following the C-Class was the BMW 3 Series and Infiniti G. Not surprisingly, each of these were the most common models in their respective lineups. Los Angeles and Miami are also prime hotspots for luxury car thefts, according to the Detroit News report.
While getting your car stolen is pretty awful, there was one inspiring statistic compiled by the NICB - the average recovery rate across the board was 84 percent, with the Cadillac CTS getting recovered 91 percent of the time.
Upcoming new BMW X6 leaks out ahead of full reveal
Thu, 05 Jun 2014The X5 may have been the first BMW crossover on the market when it arrived in 2000, opening the door to more high-riding Bavarians to follow, but it's been replaced twice over now. The X3 is on its second generation, and with the X1 having been introduced in 2009 and the X4 soon to hit showrooms, that makes the X6 - introduced in 2008 - the oldest crossover in the BMW lineup. But it won't be for much longer.
Soon BMW will reveal the all-new X6, based on the latest X5 but with that tell-tale slanted roofline. But before it gets the chance, a handful of images have leaked their way all over the Internet to give us an advance look at what to expect.
The overall shape of the new X6 comes across as familiar, if a bit less of an awkward take on the vehicle that (for better or worse) launched the crossover coupe segment. Up front the twin kidney grilles and headlights are larger, in keeping with the latest BMW design language, and the bumper less horizontal and more dynamic. Towards the back there's a sharp crease above the wheel arch blending into the more rakishly shaped tail lights, while the metallic vent behind the front wheel arch lends the flank an even sportier appearance.
BMW i3 to start at $41,350*
Mon, 22 Jul 2013With a week to go before the global debut of the BMW i3, BMW has announced pricing for its first-ever production electric vehicle. The all-electric version of the i3 goes on sale in the second quarter of next year with a starting price of $41,350 (*not including $925 for destination nor any applicable government tax credits).
Some of the pricing elements for the i3 that BMW continues to withhold are the cost of the model using a gasoline motorcycle engine as a range-extending generator, or that of the DC Fast Charge option. This latter feature will allow the i3's depleted lithium-ion battery pack to get an 80 percent charge in just 20 minutes; for comparison's sake, the DC quick charge feature is a $750 option on the 2014 Chevy Spark EV.
Sure, we've already driven the BMW i3, but the production version of the BMW EV - promising the interior space of a BMW 3 Series - will be unveiled next week at simultaneous ceremonies in New York, London and Beijing. Scroll down for BMW's brief press blast regarding its upcoming i3.
