We are pleased to present this absolutely incredible 2005 330CiC convertible. First and foremost, it is crucial that I explain to you what makes this car truly special. It includes BOTH tops. Obviously, all of these cars came fitted with a very nice soft top (this particular model has the fully automated version which works flawlessly). However, as a very, very expensive option, an aluminum hard top was available from BMW which fits into place and turns the car into a truely weather-tight coupe. The hard top has a full sized glass rear window with defroster, dome lamps, and grab handles for the passengers -- just like a normal coupe! The hard top is quite light since it is aluminum, and can easily be lifted in and off the car by two people. It attaches in 20 seconds with the use of four anchor points with large handles that you turn. There is also a rolling stand for the hard top with a fabric cover that goes over it when it's not in use. These hard tops were cose to a $5000 option when the car was new! On top of this, this car has nearly every available option including the expensive and sought after sport package. We also believe it was garage kept because of the condition of the paint, and absence of sun damage to the leather interior.

The interior of this 330iC is in very, very good condition. It has light gray leather  heated seats. The leather is in fantastic condition, and is still soft enough to retain the "bunching" around the edges. You'll notice in listings for other 3 series convertibles that the leather tends to shrink and become hard from sun damage -- especially in the convertible models. This car has the sport seats with extra bolstering since it has the sport package. The hand brake lever is leather-wrapped, as is the steering wheel. The car has the premium Harman/Kardon audio system which features a large subwoofer in the trunk, along with a 6 Disc CD changer. There is a dock for a SiriusXM radio and it has an antenna placed on the trunk. The car also has an aux input setup for your MP3 player. It also has a DVD-based navigation system whichs functions properly. The power convertible soft top functions properly and is in very nice condition with no rips or tears. It looks as though it has seen very very little use, which is common on cars that had the hard top option, as the owners tend to utilize the hard top more often as it is quite easy to raise or lower. When I owned a convertible with a hard top, the only time I used the soft top is if I was out and was caught in the rain. The soft top is fully insulated and has a complete headliner. It is very quiet, and this car can easily be run year-round, though with the hard top, this is definitely a true year-round use car. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. The cigarette lighter has never been used. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages and two unused ash trays. This BMW has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags.  Speaking of safety, this car features the rollover protection system. This is a pair of active roll bars which deploy from behind the rear seat if the car's internal sensors detect that it is probable the car will roll over. They deploy in a fraction of a second to keep the front and rear occupants safe. The windshield surround and A pillars also feature strenghtened steel to keep the windshield area from collapsing in a rollover situation. The cargo area is very generously large for a convertible and can accommodate more than a weekend's worth of luggage easily. The carpet floor mats are there for the rear seats, as well as rubber mats for the front seats.

The exterior of this 3 Series is in stunning condition and has absolutely no dings, and very very few scratches. It is Titanium Silver in color which is a bright, bright metallic silver color that looks incredible in direct sunlight. The car has its original BMW alloy wheels which are in fantastic condition. The car has had only two owners since it was new, and both owners seem to have serviced the car exceptionally well. As was mentioned before, the soft top is in incredible condition with virtually no wear. The hard top is in beautiful condition and easily anchors to the car. Obviously, the car has been fitted with the kit to anchor the hard top. The soft top is the fully automated type which requires nothing but pressing a button to operate. It works exactly as it should without any assistance. It's impressively fast, too. It's about twice as fast as the soft top on my Audi of the same era. The car also has Xenon headlamps and LED tail lamps which are fitted as stock.

The tires are nearly new with very good tread life remaining. The tires are all matching Continental DWSs. The brakes are in  good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary BMW Inline 6 cylider engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. The transmission also operates properly. The car has traction and stability control which make this a truly usable car in the winter. It's very smooth, while still shifting crisply. These cars are known for being mechanically reliable. The car has a current New Jersey state inspection.

In many cases, it is more efficient and economical to have your car shipped to your home or office. There are various options. We have a shipping broker with whom we work that is one of the best in the business, and takes care of every aspect of the shipping process. Additionally, if you're looking for a more economical option, you can get a quote at www.uship.com. If you'd prefer to pick up your new car in person, we offer complimentary shuttle service from the Erie International Airport (ERI), as well as the Erie Pennsylvania Amtrak, Greyhound, and Megabus stations.

Purchasing a car online can definitely allow you, our customer, to get a fantastic deal on exactly the car for which you've been looking. This method is one of the best thigns to happen in the history of the used car business, because you are no longer limited to the small selection of cars offered by your local car dealerships. With affordable shipping to anywhere in the world, it is now easier than ever to find exactly the car you want at a price you like.

Since you're bidding, or making an offer, on a car which you may have not seen in person, it is important that a level of trust be established between you, our customer, and us, the dealership. This is why we post between 30 and 60 high-resolution images of every car we sell on ebay. We pride ourselves in having the most detailed, highest resolution images on ebay, and we use the finest photography equipment in order to catch even the smallest details of the cars that we sell. In addition, the description above provides a comprehensive walk-around of the car including the interior, exterior, and mechanical systems. We even will fill you in on any previous maintenance that we've performed. Regardless, all cars that we sell have been thoroughly checked for safety by our in-house master technician. In addition, we road-test every car we sell very extensively before offering it. If there are any issues with the car that are present, they will be mentioned in the auction. Because we road test the cars extensively, it is possible that the car may have more miles on it than when the auction was listed. We always encourage you to come check out the car in person before bidding or making an offer. If you are too far away to do this, there are several inspection services that can review the car, or we can take the car to a local garage of your choice for a pre-purchase inspection.

Please note that a $250 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction.  This deposit can be made by contacting us directly and can be paid by credit or debit card over the phone. This allows us to speak with you person-to-person which allows us to fill you in on the process and fine details of the transaction, as well as lets you know that we are real people who are committed to making the process of purchasing your new car as easy and painless as possible. Buying a car should be fun and exciting, not a chore. The balance is due within 7 days via Certified Check, Money Order, or bank wire transfer.  We can also accept credit cards and personal checks for full payment with prior authorization. Simply contact us before bidding or making your offer to let us know that you plan on paying with one of these methods so that we can let you know about additional terms that apply.

Non-paying buyers will be reported to ebay.  We charge a $255 dealer services fee for all transactions. This fee covers any additional paperwork service, overnighting of paperwork, and dealer prep.  We can provide a temporary cardboard plate for out of state customers at no charge. Pennsylvania residents will need to pay sales tax between 6% and 7% depending upon your county of residence. There are also Pennsylvania fees for the registration, title, and license plate (unless you bring your own plate to transfer).

Inexpensive used cars are not at all the same as a brand new car, or certified pre-owned vehicle.  They are in no way flawless, or perfect. As noted above, we try our absolute best to disclose any issues which may be present on the car, however a car's condition is somewhat subjective and opinion based. Where door ding may be considered perfectly acceptable on a 10 year old car, it would never be acceptible on a car which is brand new.  Also, on higher-mileage used cars, it is important to remember that virtually any mechanical or non-mechanical component can fail at any time.  We cannot predict what components will fail in the future, or when they will fail.  This is simply the nature of older higher mileage used vehicles.  The best that we can do is assure that the car is operating properly at the time of purchase. This car is sold as-is, and we cannot be held responsible for any mechanical or non-mechanical failure.  Additionally, because we do not know the inspection requirements of other states, we cannot guarantee that this vehicle will pass any out-of-state inspections.

This is the final BMW M3 Coupe

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

Pour some out for the BMW M3 Coupe, folks. Production of the two-door, fixed-roof M3 has officially ended, and the orange car you see here is the very last one.
But we don't just meant the last M3 Coupe of this generation - this is the last M3 Coupe ever, since the next-gen car will launch under the name M4, staying true to BMW's revised nomenclature where coupes and convertibles will use even numbers. (Don't forget, the new 3 Series coupe becomes the 4 Series for the 2014 model year.) There will, of course, be a new M3, but that badge will only be found on the four-door version.
BMW first launched the M3 Coupe in 1986, and since then, more than 40,000 examples have been built. Sedan and convertible versions were added later in the car's life, and BMW says that the current 2013 model year convertible will remain in production until September of this year.

BMW M3 gets the video retrospective treatment

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

With BMW on the cusp of pulling back the sheets on its next-generation M3 (or should we say, M4?), the crew from Electric Federal has taken it upon themselves to give us a generation-by-generation look at the evolution of the most renowned of BMW's sports coupes. The video below features plenty of beautiful shots of each generation of M3, starting with the ever lust-worthy E30 before finishing up with the current iteration. BWS Motorsport's Mark Norris provides the narration, complete with a brief synopsis of what makes each generation so special.
As usual, the clip is fit for big-screen viewing. You can watch the action below for yourself. Meanwhile, we'll be busy figuring out which vital organs we can sell to get our hands on our own E30 M3.

2014 BMW 535d xDrive

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

I absolutely love to travel, but man, do I hate flying. Not the act of flying itself, but air travel in general - slogging through the airport, dealing with security, fighting with delays, only to finally be crammed like cattle into a too-small airplane seat where you're offered $8 sandwiches that are half-frozen. (Okay, it's not always that bad, but still.)
So when I was tasked with attending the launch for the 2015 Subaru WRX STI in Carmel, CA, I had a choice to make. I could fly into San Francisco and find my own way down to Carmel, or I could grab a turbo-prop out of SFO and fly directly into Monterey. And since you're reading about all of this in a car review, it's pretty obvious which option I chose.
The current BMW 5 Series isn't a new car, despite receiving a couple of updates for the 2014 model year. But what is new is the 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline six-cylinder engine found underhood, borrowed from the larger X5 xDrive35d and also seen in the upcoming 740Ld xDrive. It's a honey of an engine, and here in the 5 Series, it makes for a truly first-class experience.
