New Kensington, Pennsylvania, United States

The car is a 1999 E36 323iC with 48xxx original miles! It is my daily driver and it will be changing. Its a 5 speed manual with a 6 cylinder engine. The car is loaded with a heated seats, dual climate, xenon lights with angel eyes, harmon kardon premium stereo with 6 disk cd changer, power windows, locks, power auto dim mirrors, and power top. Car was just repainted and tuned up. The engine runs great, handles great and very smooth. Never driven in the snow or rain. I put 7000 miles on it since it May traveling back and fourth to the Jersey Shore I averaged 35MPG and 400+ miles to the tank!

I have to sell the car now to pay for college. I have owned it for 3 years and took excellent care of it! Always garaged, washed and waxed when necessary, and keeping the break dust off the tires. I bought the car with minor front end damage and replaced the hood, right fender, radiator, water pump, and belts, as well as upgrading the headlights to DEPO xenon. The car just passed inspection and emissions I really don't want to sell the car but debt is debt.

The rear window is cracked I patched it with pool liner plastic and glue it does not leak! The top has some discoloring on it but is still in fine shape. I planed on replacing it in a couple summers. It never bothered me because the top is always down!

If you have any questions at all please please don't hesitate to ask. I have so many more pictures of the car and all the paperwork that proves the work. I want the car to go to someone respectful that will take care of it like I did.

Meet the inventor of the BMW 3 Series wagon

Sat, 11 May 2013

It's hard to imagine, but once upon a time, there were only two BMW 3 Series variants: the coupe and sedan. Back before gran coupes, convertibles and yes, even touring models were available, buyers could only get their 3 Series fix if it came with two or four doors and a fixed roof. Back in the mid '80s, BMW engineer Max Reisbock was having some trouble fitting his whole family into his four door. Rather than suck it up and buy a van, he picked up a wrecked 3 Series and got to cutting in a buddy's garage. Months later, he had the very first 3 Series Touring ever built.
At first, he kept the the car to himself, using it to haul friends and family around, but he eventually showed it off to his friends at work. When the BMW executives found out about his project, they called him up to take a closer look. After putting an eyeball on the car, they took it, copied his design, made a few tweaks and quickly rolled out the first production 3 Series Touring. How's that for validation? Check out the video below for Reisbock's story.

BMW M3 gets the video retrospective treatment

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

With BMW on the cusp of pulling back the sheets on its next-generation M3 (or should we say, M4?), the crew from Electric Federal has taken it upon themselves to give us a generation-by-generation look at the evolution of the most renowned of BMW's sports coupes. The video below features plenty of beautiful shots of each generation of M3, starting with the ever lust-worthy E30 before finishing up with the current iteration. BWS Motorsport's Mark Norris provides the narration, complete with a brief synopsis of what makes each generation so special.
As usual, the clip is fit for big-screen viewing. You can watch the action below for yourself. Meanwhile, we'll be busy figuring out which vital organs we can sell to get our hands on our own E30 M3.

Next BMW X6 to be larger, more aggressive

Tue, 16 Apr 2013

If the current BMW X6, introduced in 2008, is looking a bit too bland for your tastes, have no fear as the next-generation model is reportedly going to be larger and more aggressive than its predecessor.
Autocar is reporting that an insider has revealed the all-new second-generation X6 will make its world debut at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show, going on sale just after summer. More aggressive styling will help BMW distinguish its sportier X6 from BMW's more practical models, such as the X3 and X5, said the source.
The next X6 will again share platforms with the X5, but it will be stretched slightly to provide second-row passengers with more legroom. Powerplants will also likely mirror those of its mainstream cousin, including a range of turbocharged six- and eight-cylinder engines and a range-topping M model (the 2013 BMW X6 M is show above).
