The car has 209k originial miles but pulls strong and shifts precisely. This car has never seen an accident. Not even a small fender bender. This is as good as it gets to getting a 4wd true driving machine that is so much fun to drive. All records since new. From window sticker to oil changes to many recent repairs. Brand new A/C and so much more. It basically runs, shifts, brakes etc. all well. No oil leaks, no burning oil etc. Paint and body is all original and good. Some wear and tear scratches, dings etc. from driving so many miles. Interior in very good shape. No leather tearing, no headliner stain sag or broken. The only thing that does not work is the display on the BMW business radio. It still plays but you can't read the display.
Anyway, if you are serious and want to fly down and drive her home you can. Has sunroof etc. also. Has no rust as it was never been in snow. What a joy to drive and so fast. I'm not here to cheat anyone trying to get rich. Please look at my feedback and bid with confidence. So please be serious about buying the car. I can't afford to jack around with anyone. Just want to get rid of the car and move on. This car will serve someone many many many more miles to go. Again, there is no compression issue, no funky noise, no oil leaks or smoke.

Porsche 911 Turbo and Nissan GT-R Nismo star in World's Greatest Drag Race 4
Fri, 26 Sep 2014We love Motor Trend's annual World's Greatest Drag Race video. Now back for its fourth appearance, the idea of lining some of the world's fastest cars up for a ten-wide, straight-line, full-throttle run is, well... it's pretty freaking badass.
The lineup this year boasts some impressively fast cars to be sure. The group of ten includes the following darlings: Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI and, last but not least, the Volkswagen GTI. Give us any one of those for the weekend, and we're happy to take the keys.
It must be said though, that for a publication that draws as much water as Motor Trend does, there are some big cars that we might expect to be here instead. The Lamborghini Huracán or Ferrari 458 Speciale would have added some exotic flare to the list, and the omissions of the Chevy Corvette Stingray (for the second year in a row) and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat are real head-scratchers.
BMW 2 Series to wear 230i, M240i nameplates
Wed, 19 Nov 2014BMW might not be done tweaking its naming scheme quite yet. Of course, at this point, the jumble of numbers on the back of the Bavarian models has no connection to what's under the hood. So there's not much reason to stop changing the monikers now.
As Autoblog reported a few months ago, BMW is slotting upgraded, turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines called the B48 and B58, respectively, into the 3 and 4 Series. If this happens, the 328i/428i would become the 330i/430i, and the 335i/435i would turn into the 340i/440i.
Obviously, this change hasn't happened yet, but the same member of 2Addicts, a portion of the larger Bimmerpost community has now claimed that the 228i and M235i would get the same treatment. They would become the 230i and M240i, respectively, with the new engines.
BMW i3 to be priced around $40,000
Mon, 06 May 2013According to Automotive News, the BMW i3 electric hatchback will likely be priced around $40,000, or similar to that of a well-equipped 3 Series sedan, when it goes on sale later this year. This information was revealed during an interview where AN spoke to Ludwig Willisch, CEO of BMW North America. The i3 will likely qualify for a $7,500 tax credit from the US federal government, though AN reports that a BMW spokesperson could not confirm this just yet.
In addition to the all-electric i3, BMW will offer a range-extended version that uses a 0.65-liter two-cylinder motorcycle engine and auxiliary generator to charge the car's battery on the go. Automotive News says pricing for this model is still unclear, as is whether or not the range-extended i3 will be eligible for the $7,500 tax credit. Of course, buyers needing a vehicle for longer trips will be able to borrow one from the automaker.
Automotive News also reports that the majority of BMW's 338 dealers in the United States will be able to sell the i3, as well as the upcoming i8 hybrid sports car. Dealerships have until June of this year to opt out of this program, however.
