Price:
FYI: Private party bluebook is $24,725 (Edmunds) or $24,762 (Kelley Blue Book). Average dealer retail is $28,662 (Kelley). (These are all based on the current, somewhat high mileage, of course).

I will confirm any sale at $22,725 or more. ($2,000 off private party blue book and around $6,000 less than you would pay for this care at the dealer). But, please don't ask to just buy it for that price. The car is worth more than that, I owe more than that, and I'm hoping it will sell for more than  that at auction. But, even if it doesn't go any higher, I will confirm $22,725 at auction

The car is currently leased and I am over miles. I would rather sell it for something less than bluebook value as opposed to just turning it in and paying the over-mileage fee. Basically, you would be benefiting rather than BMW leasing. Obviously, I hope that someone will be interested and will pay at or over private party blueblook. If the high bid ends at $22,725, I will have to pay $3,200. So, please bid if you're serious about this - especially if you see someone bidding that minimum, because I will honor my word and sell it for that, even at a huge loss.

Good luck in bidding.

Seller's notes:
I am the original purchaser and owner of this car and its only driver for the past 3 years.
I am located in Toledo, Ohio. Please come see this car if you can. If you cannot come to see it, go to the local BMW dealer and drive a 3-series. Nothing in the world drives like a 3-series, you will love it.
This car is a gem. I've owned it since day 1 and kept it in excellent condition. All of the miles are highway miles commuting on the Ohio Turnpike. The car has been perfectly maintained by the BMW dealer.

2015 BMW 2 Series Convertible will flip its lid for $38,850

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

For the most part, they look almost identical to their coupe versions, except that they now boast an electrically folding soft top.
BMW is dropping the top of the 2 Series in early 2015 in the US with convertible versions of the 228i and M235i. They'll make their world debut at the Paris Motor Show later this year and will show their faces on this side of the pond at the 2014 Los Angeles International Auto Show.

BMW M4 Convertible spied with naked top and trunk

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

Our trusty spy photographers have been at it again, snagging these first images of the forthcoming BMW M4 Convertible without camouflage on its retractable roof and rear deck. You'll recall that this is not the first time we've seen the followup to the M3 Convertible, but that the last batch of images we had were encumbered by a lot more camouflage - this car is virtually naked by comparison.
Not surprisingly, the M4 looks to share its folding hardtop design with the standard 4 Series droptop, and it should operate in a similar manner as well. It's no surprise, but it looks like BMW is going to try and make the transition from M4 Coupe to M4 Convertible as effortless as previous efforts converting the M3 to an M3 Convertible. That should mean that below the beltline, this car is nearly identical to the coupe we saw in Detroit.
As for the camo'd features on these spy photos, the hood, front fascia, rear fascia, quarter panels, side sills and mirrors have all been shown on the M4 Coupe, and don't really bear mentioning. There's been no word of just where the M4 Convertible will make its debut, although considering the lack of disguise on this car, Geneva seems like a likely destination.

BMW Concept 90 Motorcycle debuts at Villa d'Este

Fri, 24 May 2013

The Concept 90 is one of two new vehicles BMW is showing off at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the tony shores of Lake Como in Italy. This year is the 90th anniversary of BMW Motorrad and the 40th anniversary of the R 90 S (inset) - the first production motorcycle to come with a front fairing - and BMW has worked with custom bike builder Roland Sands Design to craft a homage to the Daytona Orange boxer from the Seventies.
While following the line of its forbearer, obviously the Concept 90 has been sexed and sleeked up. The bodywork is of hand-worked aluminum, the giant halogen lamp of the 1975 model (which is when Daytona Orange was introduced) has gone LED, and the front engine cover, valve covers, exhaust and wheels have been made with a contrast-cut milling process.
For a finer description of the Concept 90 check out the press release below, or skip the words and go straight to the high-res images above.
