This car is in outstanding condition with no dents, mechanical issues, or accident history. I purchased the car in January of 2012 when it had 18,000 miles on it. Primarily, I have driven the car commuting to work 70 highway miles a day over 2 years. The car is wonderful to drive, is silky smooth, and quiet at any speed. Steering is precise and the car moves through turns and curves very flat (no sway) with tons of grip. The 230hp engine provides substantial power - 0 to 60mph in just under 8 seconds. The car gas mileage is as advertised with mixed driving consistently at 26.5 mpg. 30 mpg highway.

All design aspects and features of the car are intuitive and high quality. Some favorite features are the instantaneous speed lock when engaging cruise control, the active headlights that slightly lead on curves and provide corner lighting on turns, the rain sensing intermittent wipers, and climate control that allows convertible driving at a wide range of outdoor temperatures. I enjoy the car immensely and am reluctantly selling to acquire all wheel drive for driving around our new mountain home and the cargo space needed for my hobby equipment.

2014 BMW Z4 offers minor refinements with a majorly orange wrapper

The redesigned BMW Z4 was rolled out onto the show floor at the Detroit Auto Show, with the example in question being an sDrive35is variant, with the just-less-than-screaming Hyper Orange Package. The exclusive colorway includes the metallic orange paintjob, as well as trim-specific seats, stitching and accents for the interior. More importantly, the 35is driveline means that you'll find a high-output version of the turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 engine, here outputting 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Two slightly less ferociously powered versions of the Z4 will be available for the new model year, too (both familiar). The Z4 sDrive35i is good for 300 hp and 300 lb-ft, while the still-potent sDrive28i features a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder making 240 hp and 260 lb-ft.

If you told someone that you had a friend with a four-cylinder BMW who "would let me wash the car," and in exchange for the privilege then let you drive that clean BMW once around the block, your first question would probably be "What kind of BMW is this?" There's a chance you wouldn't be surprised once you found out the coupe in question was the E30 M3, a car our own Zach Bowman dubbed the "Mmmmm3."
Petrolicious talks to Gabor Mester about the car he fell in love with, a black version of the original "Munich mauler" that was owned by the parents of a high-school friend - oh, and Mester was also in high school when this washing and driving took place.
